A slice of heaven on a secluded bay on Kentuck Lake with plenty of room for the family to relax. Majestic Maples is a vacation paradise where you can enjoy all the Northwoods has to offer! Whatever you're interested in, you can do it ALL right here - boat, kayak, snowmobile, ATV, fish, hike, or curl up with a good book. This lake home sits on 3 acres and can sleep 10 comfortably. Plenty of parking for your vehicles, toys and trailers with our two-car attached garage and circle driveway. You will love this treasured getaway! HIGHLIGHTS: Outside near the dock, there is a canoe, two kayaks, an oar boat, and a paddle boat. We also have a firepit to enjoy smores and storytelling at night. Off the main level living area is a covered porch that wraps around to a large open deck with seating. The walk-out finished basement has foosball and air hockey. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on each level of the home with DirectTV in the living room and family room. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, linens, and an outdoor grill provided. The home has AC, Smart TVs, and two fireplaces. TV's are set-up with HuluTV for live streaming, as well as Netflix. BED CONFIGURATION: 1st Bedroom - King Bed (Main Level) 2nd Bedroom - King Bed (Lower Level) 3rd Bedroom - King Bed (Upper Level) with TV Loft - Two (2) Sets Twin Bunk Beds (Upper Level) PETS: This home is dog-friendly! We allow a max of 2 dogs - pet fee is $40/day (a max $250 per stay). Just select the pet option when making your reservation. We have a large dog crate you can use during your stay. THE LAKE: Kentuck Lake is a 1,001-acre full rec lake. Across the lake is sandy; at the property, it is a natural shoreline with a muck bottom. We have a dock to tie up your boat and the launch is just a short distance away. You can expect to catch Musky, Walleye, Small and Large Mouth Bass, and plenty of nice sized Panfish. TRAILS: If you are into hiking, across the street is the National Forest. You can take off from your ATV or snowmobile right from the home to get onto the nearby trails. THE AREA: The house is within 15 min of downtown Eagle River, 45 min from Minocqua, and an hour's drive to beautiful Bond Falls. Officially recognized as the Snowmobile Capital of the World, Eagle River is a haven for winter sports enthusiasts with a massive network of off-road trails to explore and recreation facilities galore. Situated in the heart of Wisconsin's 28 Chain of Lakes region, endless ways exist to enjoy time out on the water. Very responsive property manager. I had a bit of trouble checking in as it wasn’t clear to me that you had to enter the house through the garage. This was made trickier by the fact that my cell phone didn’t have service at the house making rereading the instructions difficult. I just would recommend the property manager make this very clear ahead of time. The lake, dock and boats were so much fun! The grill was immaculate and the house was so well maintained. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and perfect for our family of 9 1/2. This was our second year staying here, and we have decided to make it a yearly tradition! Love the extra fridge in the garage for beverages, and the mud room with washer and dryer is a huge bonus! The adult “kids” loved having the entire lower level to hang out and play games, and we had a fire in the fireplace every day. Our family Christmas was a great success. Thanks, Doug! ##### Kate L. We send him pictures of the rick it felt when we walked in a house. He told me it will be ok and I'm sure he knew it was a problem from last people that stade in a property. But we got charged for a repair. Also we got charged extra money for vacuem a floor. I have been staying in many different palces before but never like this one. Stay a way. ##### ALEX K. We were just around the bay from my brother’s place so the location was great. A beautiful view of the lake from the deck! Easy to spend an afternoon just sitting out there relaxing and taking in the beauty of Kentuck Lake. The owners were very easy to communicate with and the nicest people. Couldn’t ask for better hosts! The cabin is clean and has everything you would need for your stay. Very cozy, yet plenty of room to find a quiet place to read away from the noise of a large group. We enjoyed having a lower level for extra space to hang out with family who stopped to visit. We were thankful for the extra refrigerator in the garage and the ability to park in the garage.
