This great mountain escape has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 fireplaces, deck with mountain views, EV charger, and a community hot tub. TVs in all bedrooms, a private deck with mountain views, and a community hot tub. This is the perfect homebase for all of your adventures - or to just relax in a true mountain setting. Dogs welcome! BED CONFIGURATION: \* Main Bedroom - King bed and Ensuite Bathroom - fireplace in bedroom (TV) (Upper Level) \* 2nd Bedroom - Queen bed (TV) (Main Level) \* 3rd Bedroom - Queen bed (TV) (Upper Level) \* 4th Bedroom - Queen bed (TV) (Upper Level) OPTIONAL EV CHARGER: This home has a Level 2 Tesla wall charger with a J 1772 adapter. To add this option to your stay, please note it in your reservation so we can unlock it for your use. The cost is $15 per day. AMENITIES: The property has a shared hot tub, playground, and hiking. You can also walk or bike the 0.3-mile dirt road from the condo to the Nugget Mountain Bar - they have a food truck and indoor/outdoor seating with firepits. In the summer, they also feature live music! In the summer, a bike ride to the ski resort would be easy, too. LOCATION: Silverpick sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It borders the National Forest and is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just 1 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events. PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone. COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. NOTE: There is a ring doorbell at the entry door. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). There is not much hot water at all especially since it’s a condo suited for 6 people. I messaged them about it and a missing tv remote for the master bedroom. They said they would look into it and never said anything else, luckily we found an extra remote in another room.
