You can see the Durango railroad train from the front door. This place appears to be very new with high ceilings, dimmable LED lighting and a nice convection oven. Also had a grill and outdoor seating area right off the kitchen. well thought out rental with an ensuite bath in the master bedroom. My two granddaughters, age 10 and 7, loved playing on the grounds, jumping over the small brook that ran by the house, and playing in the creek. The house was lovely, comfortable, and well-stocked. The hosts got back to us right away when we had a question and were good about communicating with us about some hiccups that were out of their control (e.g. an internet outage). The creek on the property was beautiful and we enjoyed reading in the shade while the children played in the water. There is a babbling brook off the deck where we often ate our dinner and breakfasts. It is a great location out of the city proper, north of Durango but still quick to town for activities or dinner. Quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed taking walks in the evenings. We hiked Ice Lake, rode the Train and visited Mesa Verde. All easy to get to from the property.
