Step into the Cart House and you will feel instantly at ease. The accommodation is more akin to a boutique hotel than your average self-catering cottage.. Think fluffy white bathrobes and towels, and your own 6-seater private hot tub with views of an endless sky. Think sumptuous sheep skin rugs under foot and sinking into super kingsize beds under the best quality Egyptian cotton sheets. Think deep bathtubs, powerful rain showers and the most luxurious interiors. But above all, think tranquil, re-energising serenity: a complete change of pace from the hectic working lives that most of us lead.  
  
From the swivelling wood burner to the outdoor relaxation area; from the luxury soaps and body washes to the well-stocked kitchen cupboards, your hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as easy and as special as possible. The large arched windows will give you a hint as to the history of this gorgeous, converted building, an old cart shed which is located near the owners’ farmhouse.  
  
Located a few miles from Duns in the Scottish Borders, this location serves as the ideal central point to explore this beautiful area. Just a 25-minute drive takes you to the seaside at Coldingham or Berwick Upon Tweed; 60 minutes and you can be in Edinburgh city centre.  
  
Come to The Cart House and experience for yourself what a stay here can do for the soul. Languor in the hot tub for days at a time; read that book you’ve been wanting to read all year; feed your adventurous side with a walk on one of Northumberland’s incredible beaches, followed by a soak in the big pink bath; drink good wine; visit the famous Abbeys and Stately Homes of the Borders. Do whatever you like and allow The Cart House to provide you with quiet luxury and the serenity and space to unwind, re-energise, and forget the world for a short while.. 1 step to entrance.
