The house was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. It is situated close the the famous Birnham Oak tree with lovely river walks right on the doorstep. The amenities in the house were superb and the owner had thought of everything. Our dog really enjoyed his stay and the thoughtful extras, like dog beds and towels were great. We walked into town along the river and had a fantastic walk up Birnam Hill, without having to drive at all. Local shops were plentiful and interesting. Vriendelijke ontvangst door welkomstmand met lekkers. Prima locatie om de omgeving te verkennen. Geen last van de weg qua geluid. Het was tropisch warm toen we er waren, er zijn ventilatoren en het huisje is goed te koelen savonds. In de omgeving is het goed zwemmen in Loch Freuchie. Heel rustig en parkeerplekje vlak bij brug. Zoals de omschrijving. Voor kinderen van alle leeftijden speelgoed en spelletjes, zelfs een wii. Het enige dat we kunnen bedenken is een wasrek voor binnen dat defect is en het ontbreken van wasknijpers voor buiten. Verder is alles aanwezig. ##### maria r. Instructions were clear and the property was perfectly suited for us. We were attending a wedding locally and the house is in a central spot. Near a play park for kids, it has it’s own large garden, near beautiful river and countryside walks. Local amenities are within walking distance and a great fish and chip shop, pharmacy and pubs. The house is large, clean, tidy and perfectly proportioned to enjoy socially. We wish that we were staying for longer and will certainly visit again.
