Get an authentic feel of the West in this newly built log cabin. Nestled along Horse Creek, guests can relax and enjoy the soft sound the river running. All with the convenience of being located just one block off main street, right in the center of Dubois. Great for snowmobilers in the winter, with ample room for parking trucks and trailers in the private drive. Also perfect for a family getaway or friend reunion. Stop by on your way to Yellowstone National Park, or escape the expensive lodging in Jackson Hole, WY. The trees needed to build this home were cut from mountains 20 miles west of Dubois. Even more spectacular is the fact that each log was squared, the edges were hand drawn, and set in place the old fashion way. The wood work is amazing - the stair case is a show piece. Three comfortable beds, a large kitchen with cool dining table and a seating area with comfortable couches and chairs. The pine ceiling is "beetle kill" which has streaks of blue in it. Pretty rare and it's beautiful. It's a full on Wyoming experience. Just two short blocks to historic Dubois 'downtown' and the Rustic Pine bar - a must see. Very good communication with the owners. We stayed here to be close to the Ranch we were going to and much cheaper than Jackson Hole. The kitchen was a delight to cook in and was well stocked with ingredients and cooking tools.
