J'ai réservé une chambre au sein de cet hôtel pour notre dernière nuit à dubai, j'ai rarement vu un hôtel aussi insalubre, ça sent l'odeur du désodorisant pour toilette, ils en mettent partout, ensuite la chambre aucune insonorisation. la couette est sale,je l'ai enlevé, pour info je n'ai meme pas dormi la nuit arrivé à 16h00 je suis parti à minuit... prendre un autre hotel.... Connaissant Dubai meme sans etoile, les hotels sont mieux que celui ci.... je ne comprends pas les avis favorable sincerement et le pompon est que soit disant la piscine est en reparation....

Metro loin a 20 minute a pied . Obliger de prendre un taxi avant pour aller a la station burjuman. De plus la tele de marche pas bien apres plusieur demande on ne me la pas changer ducoup j'ai laisser tomber la tele. Le pire c'est la clim du mal a la regler . En plus il y a a 100 m un chantier horrible le bruit donc hotel a deconseiller

Tres sale, je le deconseille fortement!!!
J en garde une tres mauvaise impression, l hotel est de facon generale sale, ma chambre aussi et la salle de bain n en parlons pas, a mon arrivee, il y avait des poils dans la baignoire et l abattant des toilettes tres sale!!!!! De plus j ai change de chambre, car il y avait des puces de lit!!!!!!! Le personnel n est pas tres aimable et la wifi ne fonctionne pas toujours, bref, je n y retournerai plus!

Le plus gros problème de cet hotel est la connection Wifi est tres mauvaise, par ailleurs, je note que l'hotel est bruillant, l'hotel est en cours de rénovation, pour quelqu'un qui veut passer deux ou trois jours ça reste correcte sinon c'est un hotel en déça des trois étoiles.

Good Hotel
Hôtel bien localisé pour aller visiter Dubai. Situé dans un endroit stratégique non loin de Jumeirah beach par exemple. Personnel très sympa et disponible. Réception 24h/24h Chambre modeste mais propre. C'est vrai que le mobilier pourrait etre revu pour redonner un coup de jeune à cet hôtel.

Personnel très accueillant à l'accueil. Hôtel situé à côté de centres commerciaux, pratique pour faire des courses. Petite piscine, peu de transats, mais acceptable. Possibilité de réserver des sorties via l'hôtel à des prix attractifs. Bon rapport qualité prix.

super hotel ! le personnel est tres serviable avenant. les chambres sont grandes et propres. Et le prix est très correct. nous y retournerons pour notre prochain voyage à Dubai. le seul inconvénient c'est que pour le moment la station de métro "el karama", qui n'est pas très loin de l'hôtel (10minute à pied), est pour le moment fermé.

Hotel assez bien situé, environ 15 mn du centre ville (taxis pas chère). L'état de l'hotel est correcte, un peu vieux. Le personnel est tres acceuillant et professionnel (renseignements, excurssion).

cet hotel est vraiment très bien situé, il est proche de tout commerce, il est en plein centre ville, le personnel est vraiment très accueillant et gentil. Dès que y'a un problème il sont toujours la pour le résoudre.

staff makes some effort to please the client but still the standards of the hotel are very low, not suitable for european used to at least average standards. i choose the hotel only because very close to my friend house but even though i couldn tresiste more than 2 days

Good value, decent apartment hotel.
I booked this place because it was one of the cheapest apartment hotels in Dubai and I was staying a whole week. I wasn't expecting much given all the bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised at how decent it was. The room was large, clean and the shower and air conditioner worked fine. There were some minor maintenance issues like a loose toilet seat but no big deal. The free internet worked well most of the time but was sometimes down. My only gripe was the early morning loud prayers from the mosque across the road but I got used to it after a couple of days. I'd stay here again if the price stays low.

Eenvoudig hotel, puur om te slapen.
Er zou gerenoveerd moeten worden, muren waren van sommige kamers beschimmeld. Wij hadden 3 kamers bekeken, 1 met schimmel, 1 met kletsnatte muren schimmels en de kamer die wij namen, die gelukkig geen schimmels of natte muren had. De badkamers waren wat gedateerd. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maar laten we eerlijk zijn, we gingen die kant op wetende dat we geen 4 of 5 sterren hotel geboekt hadden.

Expensive for no good reason.
I booked this one at about 150aed per night but learnt that there was a 50aed per night charge for the internet taking the total per night to 150aed + 20% tax + 10aed per night tax + 50aed per night internet equalling 240aed per night(shocker) which is crazy expensive when you take into account the really unfavourable location of the hotel if you are doing the public commute - the nearest bus stop is about 500 meters away and the nearest train station(Al Fahidi) is close to 2km from the place. When the temp. outside is over 40C right now(June) then even 20 feet feels like 2km. BUT, if you have well enough to have a car for yourself then 240aed for this place is not a big deal, however if you are new to the country or on a tourist visa then i wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
SELECTING THIS HOTEL WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE. AT 12 IN THE NIGHT THEY WERE BREAKING SOME INTERNAL WALL, WHICH WAS ILLELEGAL & GOVT. ASK THEM TO BREAK IT. WHEN I & SOME OTHER GUEST REQUESTED THEM TO STOP SINCE WE COULD NOT SLEEP, REPLY WAS VERY AROGANT. FINALLY I CALLED POLICE TO STOP THE WORK.

The place is fairly run down, with tile coming off around the pool. They were doing some painting while we were there, but it needs more than painting! Here's to hoping that they are doing a bigger renovation. They also really need to review their cleaning practices. The children's pool was unusable because it was so dirty. And I'm still itchy from the insect bites. Stained carpets are one thing, but beg bugs are a whole different thing. It was the cheapest place I could find at the last minute, but I should have spent a bit more money somewhere else. And I usually live in a developing country.

No that great place to stay
I had to book this hotel coz rooms were not available at Hotel i was staying for nights before this. when I checked in to room, the room key was broken and half of it was in the key hole, when i went to the reception to show him the same, the guy at reception gave me such a look that i had broken it. When i informed him that it was already broken he asked the Maintenance guy to check it, but the house keeping guy already knew about the same and didnt inform the reception. I was soo tired and wanted to sleep but for 1 hour the maintenance guy kept hammering and drilling the lock. Finally it happened and i was handed over the keys. The towels in the room smelled bad. The TV was very old. Book only if you dont have any other options.

No rooms available when we arrived as the hotel had double booked. Did the reception staff care - no. They were indifferent, lied and just plain rude. The hotel itself was in a bad location, was run down and filthy dirty. The reviews with more than 1 star are written by the staff of the hotel.

Ended up not staying there as the hotel pictures and description did not match the hotel. Was offered a 3 bed apartment. When I arrived and was shown my room it only had one double bed. When I queried it I was told the hotel do not offer 3 bed apartments (which is contray to the hotel reservation). To cut a long story short it took a while for the guy at the front desk a long time to return my passports and money and cancel the booking. Avoid this place!

Good location.
Short walking distance to shops and fast food restaurants. Check in was easy and trouble free. When I arrived to the room it had no towel's, no kettle and the safe didn't work. I told reception and all was done very quickly. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed. For the price, an excellent hotel. The staff were friendly and always greeted me when leaving andentering the hotel. Wifi was good, able to use Skype with a good cconnection. Checkout was easy and hassle free.

I didnt stay there very long. Overall the place was clean but it was tiny. Nothing modern about the lobby or the room. Im surprised the TV didnt have an antennae sticking out the top. It has all the basic functions of a living quarters but thats about it. Even the elevator was only big enough for 4 people comfprtably. Its a good place to stay for an overnight layoever but nothing more if comfort is somewhat a concern for you. The keychain was so big I had to drop it off at the front desk when I left. I cant remember the last time I actually had to use a key to turn a lock to open a door at a hotel. It just has an overall old feeling. The bed was a queen but because the overall room was small and there was no headboard it really didn look like it.

Very dirty
Pretty big room with a small kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. However, the furniture was filthy. The sofas and the chairs have not been changed or cleaned for years. The only thing I felt like doing, is putting my bags there. We had to ask for extra sheets because we only had one sheet and a very dirty bed cover. The shower curtain was disgusting. There were two computers downstairs, but one was not functioning, and the other didn't have a mouse. Who needs a mouse to operate a desktop? The day we were leaving for the airport, when instructing us about public tranfportstion to the airport, the staff forgot to tell us that the metro started only at 1 pm because it was Friday. Big deal! We were also not informed that breakfast was not included. After we had a pretty simple breakfast (for two people), we were given a bill for 50 dirhams which is about $15. 15 minute walk to the metro, but its so hot outside that it is the most miserable walk you'll ever have. There is a bus 5 minutes from the hotel that takes you to the metro. But stops are aitconditioned. If you are staying in Dubai in the summer, definitely get a hotel as close to the metro as possible. 43 degrees C, very high humidity. Good: only one or two stops to the local market area that is a must see, Gold Souk, and a boat station, Bur Dubai Abra Dock. A 24 hour supermarket next to the train station.

Superb value for money.
Early check-in went without a hitch. We were upgraded to a very clean & spacious apartment with no balcony but there was an interesting view of the main road. Fridge, washing machine etc all worked. Excellent location for cabs, Metro, supermarkets. I've stayed at quite a few hotels & apartments in Dubai over the years and I can't think of anywhere that was better value for money. The staff are pleasant and will usually get the job done straight away. Overall, I would happily recommend Richmond Hotel Apartments to everybody.

My Views asa guest of hotel for 10 days
The situation of property is wrong on map, its far from main junction or metro stations, its difficult to find taxi at once..there are no travel agency services in hotel.....However the receptionists are well behaved and support to new guests. Restaurant serves fresh & good hot/cold meal.

Jeg følte mig snydt, idet jeg ikke fik, hvad jeg havde bestilt. Lejligheden var meget beskidt, skabslåger faldt af, når man åbnede dem, safety-boksen fungerede ikke, der var intet bestik eller tallerkener til at spise af, der manglede en opredning, toiletpapir, vand i den varme hane og der var intet Internet. Da jeg (som kvinde) klagede i receptionen, følte jeg mig nedladet behandlet. De reagerede først, da min mand ringede fra DK og klagede. Det resulterede i, at vi blev opgraderet. Den nye lejlighed var bedre, men stadig mangelfuld. Der var intet Internet under vores otte dages ophold på trods af, at de hver dag lovede os, at det ville fungere dagen efter.

Cheap but slightly strange!
This is great value accommodation for the location, but the apartments are rather shabby - more like a backpacker hotel. It was quite amusing that it advertised a bath - but with no plug a bath is just a shower. When you let too much water out it comes up through the floor and stinks. The staff constantly coughing and clearing their nasal passages in the lobby outside my room was unpleasant. There was a huge fridge freezer, but only a plug in electric ring - so not sure why - and kettle that only worked if you held the plug in. There was an under-sheet but no over-sheet. A balcony but nothing to sit on. Nobody seemed to be able to get onto the internet. You get the picture? But hey, it was £30!!! Next time I will pay the same to stay in one of the nicer hotels (with a pool) in a shabbier part of town.
