"We loved our stay at the cozy gite nestled in a lovely shady property in the heart of the Drome. The gite is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and perfect for our stay with grandkids visiting and enjoying the pool. Michelle's gite is near several villages worth visiting and provides information on sights to see and favorite restaurants. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We'll certainly be back!"

"The cottage was absolutely charming - built from stone yet fully equipped with all the comforts such as comfy beds, great barbecue and other good cooking facilities, plus plenty of perfect spots to relax indoors or out. "The house in Montaulieu has beautiful views from the roof top terrace and a shaded terrace in the small garden in front of the house, which was very nice during the heat. The interior has a nice modern touch with a spacious kitchen and living room and a ensuite bedroom upstairs. Another bedroom is in the basement and has a separate entrance. We were very well taken care of from the friendly owner who lives next door. He arranged a man to repair the wifi that didn't function very well first but...

"Une semaine passée dans cette jolie maison avec un accueil très sympathique de Gaelle. Malheureusement l'extérieur est très décevant. Une petite terrasse grillagée, avec des cailloux salissant, une petite piscine entourée de grillage, dans un autre enclos et des maisons tout autour..., quelques arbres.....Je regrette cette location mais heureusement nous avons apprécié les villages médiévaux, la rivière, les balades....La région."

"I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there....
