King Bed and Spa! This one-of-a-kind Yurt in the Live Oaks is your PERFECT getaway from city life! Located in the heart of Texas winery and brewery country, your day trips are only minutes away in every direction! This one bedroom is hosted by Airbnb's 2022 Top New Host of the State of Texas! Enjoy stargazing, relaxing in the spa, grilling, and sitting around the fire on a 300+sq/ft deck surrounded by ancient live oak trees! The Hidden Oak Yurt is tucked away on a beautiful 9-acre property and offers all your modern amenities! The "Hidden Oak Yurt" is a 16-sided wooden cabin with a large deck nestled among giant Live Oak trees. It sits on a platform/deck that is elevated a few feet off the ground. With solid walls that are insulated, it is a round cabin with a traditional yurt feel. The space has a mini split a/c and heating unit that will keep the place at your desired temperature during the hottest summer days or the freezing winter nights. Nestled among ancient Live Oak trees, the front deck/porch offers a propane grill and a propane fire pit for your grilling or s'mores roasting needs. Sit back and relax and watch the stunning hill country stars, or enjoy an evening meal at the outdoor table under the bistro lights. With 5 opening windows in addition to the 4 foot circular skylight dome, there is plenty of natural light to wake up to the sights and sounds of nature, or close the blinds and sleep in if that is more your speed. Kick back in the king-sized bed with a brand new plush memory foam mattress or on the full sized couch and catch a late night move on the 50in ROKU TV. The space also features a "kitchenette," which means it has a microwave, toaster, induction burner, sink, fridge/freezer, and a fully stocked Keurig coffee bar. The bathroom offers a full sized vanity and a walk-in shower. We pride ourselves on providing guests with everything they need to feel at home, including complimentary toiletries, bottles of water, and fresh clean towels and linens. \*\* PLEASE NOTE there are 2 yurts and an A-Frame on property. The Hidden Oak Yurt is one of two yurts on the property. Guests have access to the entire cabin/patio and surrounding grounds. Do not climb or pass through any fences. The front gate to the property and the front door to the yurt are equipped with keypad entry. The private code for entry will be given to guests prior to arrival. The yurts are approximately 90ft apart, separated by a wooded area and a privacy fence. The porches are facing different directions to ensure they remain as private as possible. For guests looking to book both yurts, they are connected by the same driveway, which is about a 200ft walk between them. (See aerial photo for reference) We do have an unpaved driveway, it is well maintained and shouldn't be an issue for any vehicle, just something to consider if you have concerns about the possibility of getting your car dusty. There is no smoking inside or on the deck, and pets are not allowed. We like to give our guests their privacy, but we are always available through the messenger, phone, or text and will quickly respond to any questions! Uber/Lyft is best to schedule a ride in advance. Otherwise, driving is your best option to get around. The Texas hill country is known for its beautiful landscape and local wildlife, so please be mindful of your surroundings if exploring the property. PLEASE NOTE while we do have Starlink Wi-Fi, we are in the hill country, and cell service is spotty. Wi-Fi calling and streaming typically work well. We are located about 15 minutes from the closest grocery store, and about 10 minutes from a convenient store. The deck is equipped with patio items that made it enjoyable to sit out. The hammock and Jacuzzi were added enjoyment under the big oak trees. If you are looking to get away and still feel safe, this is the place. It also gated so it added an extra measure of security. There is only one other yurt there but it's not visible. For the price, you can't beat it, and this place does not charge extraordinary amount for cleaning fee. I hope this place will stay competitive in pricing. The home was beautiful, clean, and quiet. You get the design of a yurt with all the amenities of a cabin. I like the patio deck where there is a grill and fire pit included. ##### Stephen H. My husband and I spent our 11 year anniversary at the Hidden Oak Yurt and we were so impressed. It was quiet but not too far off the beaten path. Our host, Derek, communicated so well and the property had everything we needed. The property was clean and updated. The bedding was so comfy that it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. We had never stayed in a yurt before and it was more than a pleasant surprise. We will be back and I would absolutely recommend this property. ##### Allie C.
