With an incredible location close to the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan and a two-minute walk into town, this brand-new, modern, spacious and beautifully appointed three-story home is ideal for large groups of family and friends. Situated on a quiet corner lot with generous front, side and back yards and a sprawling second-story deck, the Redbud Holiday House provides the perfect vacation headquarters for indoor-outdoor living. Guests can spread out across six bedrooms, five of which have king beds and ensuite/private bathrooms. An additional family suite, located above the garage, offers a queen bed plus two full beds. Big enough to cook, eat and hang out in, the fully-stocked cook’s kitchen features an oversized island, wine fridge, pantry, and two ovens. The dining room provides a separate space for more formal group/family dinners around a large dining table. Despite offering ample spaces to spread out in, the living room – with its marble-surround fireplace and oversized comfy sofas – is a place to cozy up for conversation or watching TV. There’s even a beautifully outfitted basement family room with another fireplace, so groups can spread out. The kids can even have their own space to play or watch TV/movies. Outside, play lawn games in the back, sit around a fire pit or waste away an evening from the adirondack chairs on the front porch. With three umbrellas and seating for seven, the second-floor deck faces Kalamazoo Lake and is absolutely perfect for watching the fireworks (which happen various times throughout the year). A PERFECT LOCATION: The house is a mere two-minute stroll into downtown Douglas (full of restaurants, shops and craft beer); a 15-minute walk to downtown Saugatauk (more restaurants, shops, galleries, and wine bars); two blocks from the Kalamazoo River; and a quick drive from sugar-sand beaches of Lake Michigan, trails and dunes. The house is located across the street from a wonderful antique store (Upscale Mercantile) and art/wine gallery (J. Petter Galleries). We wanted enough beds and bathrooms so everyone had their own space. This is a fantastic property! We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. The pictures do not do this property justice. It is a massive house. I wish we booked a longer stay. The roof-top deck was great for morning coffee (and evening retreat). The kitchen was large enough to cook for everyone, with guests hanging out around the massive island. We also made use of the Webber grill and firepit in the yard. The location is also a few blocks to the water and to downtown Douglas. Saugatuck is less than a mile. Rent this place if you get a chance! ##### Jeff D. It was perfect for our family of 14\. Close to town, parks and the beach. Plenty of room to enjoy a great time with our family! Beautiful new home!
