Ideal for couples, families, or friends, this single-story barn conversion provides a comfortable base to explore the beautiful surrounding area of Dorset. The UNESCO Jurassic Coastline, including iconic sites like Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, is less than five miles away, offering over 300 coastal walks with breathtaking views of Dorset’s 200-million-year-old shoreline.  
  
Meadow Barn immerses guests in the heart of Thomas Hardy country, situated between Swanage and Weymouth. The nearby village of Wool provides convenient amenities, including a village store, bakery, and butcher shop. Fishing opportunities abound in the River Frome, and the area offers various golf courses, bridleways, cycling, and riding routes. Cyclists can leave their bikes in the property’s courtyard. Wool train station, within walking distance, provides links to Dorchester, Weymouth, Wareham, Poole, Bournemouth, and Christchurch.  
  
Explore the county town of Dorchester with its Roman relics, Brewery Square, and the architectural royal development of Poundbury. Weymouth boasts an award-winning golden sandy beach and a historic waterfront harbour. Head to the Isle of Portland, home to the National Sailing Academy and host of the 2012 Olympic Games sailing events. Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World, both nearby, are local highlights, as are Corfe Castle, Swanage Bay, the steam railway, and Arne RSPB Natural Reserve. The Isle of Purbeck, renowned for its spectacular scenery, including Poole Harbour, makes Meadow Barn an ideal spot within the heart of the Dorset countryside. The beach is just 5.5 miles away, and a shop is conveniently located 800 yards away, with a pub and restaurant within a quarter mile.
