The Old Coach House in Dorset's Area of Outstanding Beauty - 1 bedroom

Ce superbe cottage d'une chambre est situé dans des jardins tranquilles en bordure de Maiden Newton, au cœur de la zone de beauté naturelle exceptionnelle de West Dorset.

Il y a de fantastiques promenades à la campagne juste devant la porte et la magnifique côte jurassique avec ses plages immaculées se trouve à quelques minutes en voiture. Il se trouve à 5 minutes à pied des magasins du village, d'un excellent pub local et de la gare.

Il y a un lit traîneau super king-size très confortable, une douche puissante, une cuisine entièrement équipée, une connexion Wi-Fi fiable avec haut débit ultra-rapide, une télévision intelligente 40", un poêle à bois et un bain à remous privé toute l'année.

Nous acceptons très bien les chiens, acceptons tous les pains et un nombre illimité peut séjourner gratuitement. Sachez que le jardin est accessible par des marches extérieures ou depuis le palier du premier étage et peut donc ne pas convenir aux chiens âgés et infirmes.

Veuillez jeter un œil à nos photographies et sachez que les vues de rue de Google sont très obsolètes et que les choses ont changé.

Lovely Location

We arrived at the property to check in at 16.15 to find that it hadn't been cleaned and was not read. We contacted the owners who came and we then had to vacate for several hours whilst they got it ready. We were very disappointed that they only offered us a 10 refund as the hot tub could not be used that evening, but the inconvenience for us was having to go out whilst the house was prepared when we had been travelling all day. Aside that, the house is in a lovely location, very quiet. It does need some TLC, felt that we had to wash dishes before we used them, there were no sharp knives, dishwasher was very dirty, shower looked grubby. Could be improvements on the cleanliness and some of the paintwork in the house.

Lovely cottage

Cottage was in a lovely location very peaceful setting however there were a couple cleanliness issues, black mould on alot of the tiles in the shower, the shower is definitely not made for anyone bigger than a size 14 and lots of limescale on the shower head the bed frame was very dusty and the toilet kept dumping water periodically which was annoying at night also we didn't realise you had to " book" the hot tub, that being said its was a lovely relaxing break and would definitely stay there again.. these issues didn't bother us but it might bother future guests head,the bed

Lovely property, we parked up on arrival and didn’t get in the car until we left. Great walks on the doorstep. The garden was a real sun trap, and the hot tub was lovely after a long day walking.

Beautiful property, perfect location

Highly recommend this beautiful property. It was fully equiped with everything we needed. Village with pub a few minutes walk away with many footpaths to explore. Hot tub an added benefit after long walks. We will definitely be back !

Lovely short stay

My husband and I stayed with our large dog for a short get away in Dorset. We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely be back. The bed was large and comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we would need and the living room was very cosy. The hot tub was an added bonus after a long day out walking!

Not luxurious as described.

When viewed 1st online, 14b Cattistock road showed the rear of a property with large garden. Reality, not so! Very narrow path to gdn, accessed from 2nd floor was not suitable for a large dog or to relax in. If the weather was wet, access from garden would be right next to bedroom. Not ideal for dog. Kitchen utensils were dirty or damaged. I do have Photos to back up this statement. Would describe this property as standard.

Great dog friendly bolt hole

We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. Would happily stay here again.

A lovely place to stay

The Old Coach House is excellent accommodation. Very well equipped and perfect for short breaks. It has a very comprehensive information pack covering everything that you will need including local walks, dog friendly attractions, places to visit and places to eat out. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Dreamer dorset

Fantastic place well equipped everything you need home from home. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Very dog friendly gardens. Hot tubs are well needed best we have every used. Like location to everywhere. Lovely and peaceful, kitchen a little small we are tall so knocked our heads a few times. Overall top quality place. And would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage

Really lovely cottage with a nice garden area that is a sun trap. We loved the hot tub and the wood burning stove, close to beaches and local woodland walks. The communication with the owners was fantastic and they helped us with any queries we had. My only observation would be that the hot tub is across the drive rather in the grounds of the property itself and I wasn’t expecting that from the on line photos or description.

Dog designed property

Great property, the dog loved it, only thought from us is the interior lighting could be on separate switches it was very bright. Log fire was perfect and very warm. We will be back when the weather is better.
