![Above the entrance to the passage at Newgrange there is an opening called a roof-box. Its purpose is to allow sunlight to penetrate the passage and chamber at sunrise around the Winter Solstice. At 8:58am a narrow beam of light penetrates the roof-box and reaches the floor of the chamber, gradually extending to the rear of the passage. As the sun rises higher, the beam widens within the chamber so that the whole room becomes dramatically illuminated. « Excellent séjour! La chambre était très propre et le personnel au top! La literie était impeccable bravo 👏 L’hôtel est un peu excentré mais il y a des bus qui passent facilement près de l’hôtel et c’est agréable de rentrer à l’hôtel loin du monde après une journée. Seul bémol, le prélèvement de la chambre a était prélevé 2 fois. Le problème a été vite réglé dès le lendemain et avec professionnalisme. La navette n’est plus disponible de l’aéroport jusqu’à l’hôtel. Mais pas de panique avec...

« Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We opted for the cold continental breaky which was good with plenty of options and fresh fruit. We received an upgrade to an ensuite room which was awesome (none were available when we booked). Of note, google map sent us to the wrong location, found the right place but inputting the postal code. »

« Super hôtes Caroline et Robert sont magnifiques. À cause d’eux, notre visite a été très bien. Notez que les chambres 1 et 2 donne sur une grande rue, donc beaucoup de bruit. La salle d’eau est petite et minime. Autrement, une belle chambre très bien équipée. Petit déjeuner bon. Une belle et confortable maison. J’y retournerai. »
