Nestled in the heart of Lynn Valley in North Vancouver, Hoskins House’s entire private top-level will have you walking distance to wood walks and canyon swims, the much sought-after suspension bridge and local restaurants and shopping. The house is ideally situated on a bus route shielded with a fenced in front yard and private, quiet space in the backyard with a deck for the perfect escape. Hoskins House is close to other North Vancouver attractions such as Lower Lonsdale and Grouse Mountain as well as a 20-minute drive to downtown Vancouver.

Hoskins House features a full kitchen, two queen beds and two twin pull-out cots to maximize your sleeping space. The space is also decorated in blues and inspired by the ocean to get you relaxing immediately. Pet and kid friendly. Two parking spots available right outside the property. Laundry available.

Just as described.
A safe neighborhood and a good space to make our home base while we explored the Vancouver. So close to the suspension bridge that we had a couple of short after dinner hikes. Shower has great pressure, beds are comfortable, and kitchen is extremely well stocked with appliances and dishes! Host is easy to communicate with and very respinsive.

Our family of 6 was very comfortable in this house. We enjoyed being close to the Lynn Canyon park and suspension bridge which is beautiful (a must-see) and out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver. Communication with host very easy. Highly recommend this property.

Great house and location
We loved staying here while checking out Vancouver and the surrounding area. It was pretty easy getting to downtown. We liked being in North Vancouver as it has a lot of trees and is quieter. Close to Lynn Canyon which can be busy but is a beautiful place to visit. We also drove to Mount Seymour park as well as taking a day to travel the sea to sky highway to whistler. The house itself is great - it was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The backyard is private and it was nice sitting out on the back deck with coffee in the morning, or eating dinner out there in the evening. Hilary is a gracious and friendly host - I highly recommend this place and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if we make another trip to Vancouver!

The host did an amazing job of having everything our family may need to have a happy comfortable stay! There were extra towels, cots, fans and lamps that made a family of 5 able to charge devices and sleep comfortably. The location is wonderful, next to plenty of hiking trails and eateries. The house is quiet in a pleasant neighbourhood. Would stay again.

What a wonderful property. We were a group of 4 boys needing to place to land for a quick Vancouver trip. This place was PERFECT. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to trails (than include a suspension bridge, a watering hole to cold plunge, and entrance into many more miles of forest trail). It is also less than 5 mins drive to more trails, plus a commerce area with grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The home itself had every amenity we needed. Plus the owner is SUPER RESPONSIVE. I had to text her about a minor issue and she responded immediately and came up to provide the fix. If we have the chance to return to Vancouver, this is where we will stay.

Relaxing girls weekend
The property is exactly as described - the hospitality of the host and ease of communication was super appreciated and made the stay very enjoyable! It was very close to shops and perfectly located to enjoy both nature as well as the Shipyards and Lower Lonsdale neighborhood. We had a wonderful weekend and will be back! I would highly recommend this place to anyone for a stay, both with family or friends for a weekend away.

We loved Hillary's house! It had everything that our family needed. The location was great, it was close to Lynn Suspension bridge, grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet. Our favorite parts were that we were welcomed by a Halloween decorations in the front yard, wine, chocolates, coffee and robes for lounging! We felt at home. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this very nicely appointed home. We were .5 a mile from the beautiful Logan Canyon suspension bridge, great restaurants and a Waves coffee house. We recommend this VRBO if you’re looking for a chill local experience. Hillary was a great host.

One of the few properties I've stayed at that I can say was nicer than the photos. Host was excellent and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect for our itinerary as we bounced between city and nature during our stay. The wifi was reliable and the access to streaming services on the TV was a nice bonus.

A Quiet Stopover
My husband and I spent 2 lovely evenings in Hilary's home. Everything was as listed on VRBO with the no surprises, we even had the resident bear show up at 3am to rattle the recycling bins hopefully! Hilary answered any questions I had promptly - would highly recommend her VRBO to friends and travelers. I took advantage of the little patio off the master bedroom, and read my book while enjoying song birds in the backyard. I also walked over to the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge and did a loop north along the river - about an hour for the round trip. Enjoyed some tasty snacks from the End of the Line store as my reward! :)

Perfect spot to stay while checking out Vancouver for our first time! So convenient to hiking at Lynn canyon and grouse mountain. Also lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Hilary was so communicative and helpful. I appreciated the little things like teas in the kitchen and easily found bedding for the rollaways. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing location coupled with a beautiful house. It was very clean & quiet. All the appliances worked as they should & the amount of activities so close by is crazy. We biked on the legendary North Shore mountain bike trails, we also rode a bike specific pathway nestled within the forest & followed that ride up with amazing coffee & lunch at a local shop down the road at the start of the trailhead. The Lynn valley suspension bridge is minutes away, Grouse mountain is about 10min away & great restaurants are also minutes away. The host is very accommodating & very communicative making everything super easy to check-in, ask questions & check-out. Highly recommend.
