Het terrein is goed omheind, maar heeft veel hoogteverschillen. Het huisje is in eerste instantie moeilijk te vinden omdat er meerdere chalets in het bos staan, waarvan er sommige zeer vervallen zijn. De schoonmaak van het huisje had beter gekund en het restaurant op 1 km afstand is gesloten. Daar doorheen kijkend hebben we een fijne vakantie gehad. ##### Rudi G. Om in de avond in de bungalow wat dingen uit te zoeken, gaat helaas nagenoeg niet. - Van de muggen hadden we enorme bulten. Tijger muggen, niet veel, maar als ze bijten 1 week last ervan. - Toegang tot de bungalow is best een lastig iets. Denk dat een suv geschikter is. En vanuit de poort ingang stijl naar beneden voor de bungalow. Neem dus wel stevige schoenen mee. Even boodschappen verderop, terug naar je auto stijle klim, adventure door het bos, eenmaal op de weg prima. Let wel op snelheid, camera's. - Helaas buiten terras is scheef, dat wisten we al, en Jack zei, dat dit nog wordt verbeterd. Vonden het lastig om buiten te ontbijten. 1e, 2e dag oke, maar niet handig. En buiten een overkapping zou fijn zijn. Vanuit de gemeente is dit moeilijk met vergunning. Nemen we voor lief. Maar volop regen, moet je binnen zitten, en kun je helaas de houtkachel buiten maar aankijken. Alhoewel we veel plezier hadden met hout stoken. Was een dag taakje, fijn door het bos, hout te sprokkelen, er ligt genoeg. Er lag geen blokken hout om te stoken. Dus hebben maar als bos opruimdienst gefungeerd. - Voor de hond was het een heerlijke ruime wilde bostuin, goed afgezet. - Je bent best wel ingesloten tussen bomen, dus goede schaduw, dus geen zonvakantie in de tuin. - Dieren, geluiden, rust, een enorme 10, heerlijk afgelegen. Zelfs bijna geen dier geluiden. - fijne gaskachel, koelkast was minder, ronkte vrij luid en stond scheef. Opgelost even met een houtje. - Een ding: dat de bank in de hoek, was doorgezakt, net op de plek waar je net tv kijkt. Och, oke. - keukengerei alles aanwezig. Afzuigkap was best vet en vies. - Ze kwamen nog de ramen zemen en het terras bladvrij maken. - Daarom, hun inzet, gastvrijheid en een heel fijn gesprek, vinden we het dus ok. - De zithoek, had ik een paar kussentjes neergelegd. En merk ook op, dat je geen hoge eisen moet stellen aan comfort of luxe. - Na een toilet behoefte laat je even die afzuiging aanstaan, want er is geen raampje. Anders zit de geur direct in de keuken. Vonden de plek ook wat onhandig, dat deze direct in de keuken uitkomt. - We waren eind juni, en plok, plok de hele dag eikeltjes op onze hoofden. De omheinde tuin was een geweldige plek voor een brunch en we hebben genoten van een paar barbecues op het terras. De woonkamer was gezellig en we waardeerden de satelliet-tv voor avondentertainment. Bovendien was de korte rit naar het prachtige Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen wat onze natuurwandelingen nog leuker maakte. Een echte aanrader voor gezinnen die op zoek zijn naar ontspanning! Wenig Feuerwerk, nur ein paar Knallgeräusche sind in der Ferne zu hören. Gasheizung funktioniert gut. Der Boden bleibt sehr kalt. Leider habe ich keine Hausschuhe mit dicken Sohlen mitgebracht. Bratpfannen und Küchenutensilien müssen teilweise ausgetauscht und erweitert werden. Ich habe meine eigene Heißluftfritteuse mitgebracht. Der nette Besitzer war hilfreich bei der Suche nach dem Haus. Google Maps hat uns zu 14 statt 22 geschickt. Der Waldweg dorthin war aufgrund des starken Regens vor uns sehr schlammig und mit Pfützen übersät. ##### Ivonne B.
