This wonderful chalet with an amazing view of Turnen has 2 bedrooms and hosts 4 people. A family can stay here and enjoy the heating, terrace, and barbecue. There are many places to visit like Gstaad, Lenk, Thun, and Grindelwald. You can also take a day trip to Berne and Valais with Zermatt and the Aletsch Glacier. The Lake and public swimming pool at 18 km invite you for a swim. Facilities like supermarkets and the town center are at 8 km and restaurants can be found very near to 200 m. The chalet is comfortable and cozy with a heating and wood stove in the living room. The kitchen comes with an oven and dishwasher. The property also provides a double bed and a bunk bed. Ideaal voor vie ... De chalet heeft alle comfort en een geweldig uitzicht en terras. Ideaal voor vier personen. Wandelingen starten vanaf de chalet dus de wagen hoeft niet elke dag gebruikt te worden. Het dal en de bergen zijn erg mooi. Het is dal is niet erg gekend omdat er geen bergen met eeuwige sneeuw zijn. Het is er in de zomer dan ook rustiger dan op andere meer bekende plaatsen zoals Kandersteg, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, etc. Het is ideaal voor wandelaars die 2300 meter hoogte wandelingen voldoende vinden en die voor de natuur en rust komen. Het dal zelf heeft erg mooie en oude chalets die de moeite waard zijn. Vooral het dorp Diemtigen is erg mooi. Op minder dan een uur rijden zijn er tal van interessante bestemmingen. Interlaken, Thun, Thunersee, Spiez kunnen zelfs op 30 min bereikt worden. Dagelijk komt de huiskat langs maar wij hebben ook een vos en roofvogels vanuit de chalet kunnen spotten. Dus naast de typische Zwitserse koeien zijn er veel andere dieren. Een aanrader voor de rustzoeker en maar ook goede uitvalsbasis voor de regio ! We zijn heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren. Het huis is schoon, goed uitgerust, prachtig gelegen en heeft een schitterend uitzicht. De auto mag je, gedurende je verblijf, parkeren in een privé garage nabij het huis. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in dit huis. De omgeving is als een schilderij. Er is zoveel moois te zien en zoveel leuke dingen te doen. We hebben prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. We zijn naar de Angelsee en de Seebergsee gewandeld en hebben erin gezwommen (dat is koud, maar ook heel leuk!). Ook hebben we bij de Wiriehorn de stoeltjeslift genomen en boven een super leuke speurtocht gedaan en Trotti (step) naar beneden gereden. Aansluitend bij Wirieblick heerlijk gegeten. Thun is ook een heerlijke stad om in rond te lopen. Kortom dit huis in het Diemtigtal is echt een aanrader! Alles was aanwezig wat wij nodig hadden. De omgeving was fantastisch. We hadden mooi uitzicht vanaf de bankjes. Een heel mooi huis, op een schitterende locatie, fijne behulpzame huiseigenaren. Vanuit het Diemtigtal zijn verschillende leuke uitstapjes te maken. Aanrader is zeker de Jungfrau, Lauterbrunnen (watervallenvallei) en de Stockhorn. Bern is voor een ochtend of middag ook leuk om te bezoeken. Een week is leuk om een goede indruk van de omgeving te krijgen, maar voor een langere periode zijn er genoeg andere mogelijkheden om dingen te zien en/of te doen. De accommodatie zag er netjes uit en kwam goed overeen met de beschrijving op internetsite. De vakantiewoning stond op een berghelling en dit geeft een mooi uitzicht over het dal.
