"The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a kitchen and a guest living room in the hallway, with other rooms surrounding them. The bathroom is public but has privacy, which is okay. The room is quiet, and, most importantly, it is close to Brown and RISD if you are visiting either, since the hotel is on College Hill. The booking assistant, Stefano, responded very quickly each time I needed anything. Overall, it's quite nice and clean."

"The room was boiling hot, the sheets and entirety of the room were dirty, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I came back to the building around 10:30 at night and had gotten locked out of the building and with no proper explanation I was told that I couldn’t come back in to at least get my things until check out time in the morning. When I called, the staff member on the phone had accused me of sneaking people in when I was barely ever even in the room, I only used it to store my things and sleep. Since I accidentally didn’t register the one person I was staying with, they requested I register them after checking in by sending their information via email. Even though I did this, they lied about receiving it, and used it as an excuse to take my money. After accusing me of sneaking a group of people in without stating any evidence, let alone showing us, they told us that we were banned and wouldn’t receive a refund WHILE keeping our belongings hostage. We had to get the police involved due to the staff’s incompetence so we could get our things. Besides that really weird chain of events this place is absolutely disgusting. The walls are paper thin and showers and kitchen were dirty. To top it all off the area around the place as well was extremely filthy. "

"Hotel is a lovely old hotel centrally located to lots of restaurants etc., Rooms beautiful and beds large and comfortable. Also pet friendly which was a plus. But the room was TOO HOT & even though thermostat there to adjust no adjustment made any difference. We finally had to figure out how to open the large old windows in the middle of the night to get some sleep. Bathroom is old & small but serviceable. For the price I think bathroom should be better. The check in is hectic. Check in time not till 4pm! And whatever systems they use take a long time. Long lines resulted. I would consider staying again but would probably prefer a hotel with more modern accommodations if I’m going to pay almost 400/night after fees, taxes and parking. "

"They were working on elevators. Only 1 out of 3 were working. The one that was working broke with several people on it including a father, his son, and daughter. They were stuck for 25 mins. There was a picture of a pool on the website, and there was no pool. They advertised a hot breakfast buffet but did not have any. When I went to the front desk to ask a girl with braids gave me attitude like I was screaming when I was perfectly calm. There was smoke i. The elevator from them jackhammering, before it broke. She said none of it was their fault. She told me that I received an email about the on sight constuction. I called corporate, so could hear how terrible it was throughout the building. It was honestly laughable, except my overweight Dad with heart conditions had to walk down and up 6 flights of stairs everytime he went to the room. "

"We had an excellent stay at Rachael's and would absolutely book again.The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up. Tons of light, high ceilings, and a great layout. The kitchen is fully stocked and easy to use, beds were comfortable, linens felt high quality, and having a dining area, workspace, and gym access made the place feel easy to live in for the weekend. Location was quiet but convenient for getting around Providence.Rachael was a fantastic host. Clear communication, flexible with early check-in, and proactive about everything. She checked in during a tough moment to make sure we were safe. That level of care stood out. I can't recommend this place enough- truly a gem. "
