Hollywood Commons cabin is ready to host your next family or friend’s vacation. This year-round home sits on a spacious back lot on Lake Melissa just outside of Detroit Lakes, MN. The details inside will make your trip even more special with a full coffee bar with a Keurig and regular coffee pot, a large vaulted open living room with a dining room, a fully stocked kitchen, and a washer/dryer in the unit. Three bedrooms with Tempur-Pedic mattress in Master, & (3) TVs with Firesticks. Pantry is also stocked with nonperishable items so if you forgot something feel free to use any of the items there. Essentials like linens, baths, and beach towels are included. 3 decks on the home will provide a great space with patio seating and a fire pit for outdoor meals, happy hour, or escape to the smaller one to read that great book. Once you make your way to the beach you will find an amazing sand beach that will provide hours of entertainment for adults and children. This home is within walking distance from Detroit Country Club Golf Course, Tennis Courts & Park, and the Hotel Shoreham Restaurant. Located less than a mile from We Fest and 4 miles from shopping in downtown Detroit Lakes! Other items to note: 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds – twins can be converted into a king w/ kit Gas fireplace Forced air electric heat w/ central air conditioning Ice maker Air Fryer / Jet tub in master bath/ Fenced in back yard/ Wood & propane firepit /Gas grill/ 2 stall garage included. Ample parking/ No dock or lift included/ Pets are allowed with a pet fee and must be leashed in the yard and not disturb neighbors. Please note you can beach your boat on the shore during the day but must be removed at night. Access is close by. Some beach toys and fishing poles are provided along with a 4-wheel cart to take your cooler and other items to the beach. The common beach area is shared with 3 other homes and is a very short walk across the street. Thanks! The house was beautiful with everything you need. The property outdoor was really nice. We especially loved the fenced in part if the yard. We took our dog Moose with us. There indeed was no lockbox on the door the is an electric code built into the lock on the side door, you can’t see it unless u tap it to light up. The inside was roomy and comfortable and it was a great location. We hope to stay there again. The only problem was the back yard had really long grass and should have been mowed. There were cobwebs all over the fence and on the outside of back door and lights. There was a huge hole that wasn't covered in the back yard (leading into a basement?) and could have been a problem for kids and dogs. It was almost like the back yard was forgotten in preparation for a stay. There wasn't an umbrella on the outside table in front and due to the hot weather it would have been nice to have one. Even though the outside was not together, we did enjoy our stay and would definitely stay again and refer others to the property. Thank you. ##### Shelly E. There was a bad smell like cat litter that went throughout the house and we could not get rid of it. The pictures are accurate and the details are worth a 5 star review. It is difficult to find a rental that is clean, nicely decorated and has all the comforts of home. It is a beautiful lake rental that won't disappoint. The lake is only a short walk away. The neighbors are very friendly, yet keep to themselves. The home has all the essentials so you barely need much more than your clothes and, of course, whatever food you care to have on hand.
