The North End is one of Detroit’s most historic neighbourhoods, a cultural hub that was home to Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin and Smokey Robinson, and which today boasts a tranquil residential vibe for young professionals and hipsters alike. Be sure to plan a visit to the Schvitz, a hidden gem of the North End just 2 blocks away. The Schvitz is a self-described old-world oasis offering ancient heat therapies and holistic healing with a twist (spoiler: the Schvitz is a restored Russian bathhouse with a storied past offering brunch, booze, spa treatments, dry sauna, cold plunge and steam, making it the perfect eclectic outing for your Detroit stay).

Main floor: One sofa bed.
2 full bathrooms – one on the main floor and one on the second floor.

The North End is a historic Detroit neighborhood that has benefitted greatly from Detroit`s recent revitalization efforts. The neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood situated close to mid-town and downtown (this property is located about 2 blocks from Woodward which is the main artery to mid-town and downtown).

There are a number of ways to get to where you want to go in Detroit if you do not have your own transportation.

Uber and Lyft are super easy and always an option.

There is also the Q-line, Detroit`s streetcar system, if you are heading toward Downtown. The Q-line runs straight down Woodward and will take you from the North End to Downtown with a number of stops on the way. It`s inexpensive and a great way to see some of Detroit`s highlights. You can catch the Q-line at Woodward and E Grand (about a 5-7 minute walk). Check the Q-line website for stop locations, fares and other details.

About equal distance is a Mogo station where you can rent a bike to tool around the neighbourhood. Check the Mogo Detroit website for details.
The maximum capacity for this house is 12 people. No additional guests and no guests who are not listed on the booking.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to an additional fee and are strictly at the host`s discretion.

Our concierge will check you into the property to ensure a smooth process. You must contact our concierge at the number provided prior to arrival at the property.

Any filming or commercial photography bookings subject to approval and agreement of host.

Medium or long term stays are subject to additional cleaning. Cleaning fee is $200 every two weeks for reservations greater than 4 weeks. Reservations of 21-30 days require an additional cleaning at the two week mark (also $200).

If items in the house are damaged or broken, you will absolutely be required to pay for it.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, EVENTS, GATHERINGS OR SMOKING OF ANY KIND. THE HOME IS MONITORED BY EXTERNAL SECURITY CAMERAS AND THERE ARE ANTI-SMOKING SENSORS WITHIN THE HOME.

IF YOU HAVE AN UNAUTHORIZED GATHERING OR IF YOU ARE FOUND SMOKING, YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE TERMINATED WITHOUT A REFUND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
