"Small but friendly hotel in the centre of a medieval village. Set in a very narrow street yet unaffected by noise, while the room did not enjoy a view per se, opening the Juliet balcony allowed you a great insight into the heart of French village life. The room was well appointed, scrupulously cleaned and maintained.Muriel the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. "Overall this is a nice property, but dont be taken in by the photos, the garden is smaller than it appears on the photos, basically a small strip of lawn around the pool, and the pool/garden furniture is woefully inadequate for a property that sleeps 12\. There were 6 deck chairs and no sunbeds. When we complained the owner said the sunbeds had been broken, but didn't offer to provide more. Pool towels were not provided, just 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person. Pool was cleaned and filled...

"A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!"
