"Great location. Can snorkel directly from the incredible beach. Only negative is the food. Primarily all French with little to no American food. In fact we were the only Americans staying at the hotel. Language challenge was a bit of a problem in the dining room. Overall it was a very good experience. "

"We had a beautiful room with a plunge pool and wood deck out to the water. Stayed in an overwater bungalow. Staff was superb! Be prepared for sticker shock at the restaurants. A beer is $15, most entrees start at $40\. We were disappointed that you get charged an extra $14 for room service, making our order of a pizza and two beers over $100\. Yikes! We do have the money, yes. But when you’re already paying over $2000 per night, it feels like gambling gauging. Also, no breakfast options other than the $50 buffet. Overall, it’s been wonderful. "

"Compact resort with lush landscaping. Had a banana tree right outside our door which set the right vibe. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. On-site restaurant with good food and reasonably priced for the area. Breakfast was included which was very good. Private beach, well maintained, good for snorkling and swimming in the lagoon. Overall, the Hotel Royal Bora Bora is a great value and has the near perfect vibe for a Bora Bora getaway. I would highly recommend. "
