The property was exactly how was described and for anyone wanting quiet countryside with rolling hills as a view ,you won't be disappointed. The beauty is you are completely remote...

« Très bel établissement dans la campagne du Yorkshire où on peu profiter du grand calme. Les lieux ont fait l'objet d'une rénovation mêlant agréablement la modernité avec une vieille bâtisse. Le staff est amical et aux soins anticipant même les demandes. Les chambres sont impeccables et permettent de se sentir dans un cocon moderne. L'hôtel possède sont propre centre de remise en forme avec salle de sport, piscine, jacuzzi et sauna. Même s'il peut paraître vieillot, une nouvelle construction...

« The SPA trip was excellent, not too busy and staff were very friendly. The main hotel was nice and clean. We were slightly disappointed with the age of the room. The bathroom shower was leaking on the shower head with mould on some of the silicon sealant. The TV in the room was very small compared with other hotels in the same price category. »

« Too expensive for what you get. It looks like they have started the refurbishment and have stopped in the middle. The bathroom was old and dingy and could do with some cleaning. The breakfast was poor. The lady at reception didn't explain anything (for instance, how do you get to the spa). There were literally no signs in the whole hotel (no signs to reception, for room numbers, to the lift...). Get by by yourself! The seaviews from the room were excellent. »
