« Stayed in room 17 of the Lawns annexe, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room was large, quiet with superking bed and nice walkin shower. Parking on site. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea always a nice touch Would have been handy to offer an umbrella in room as walk to hotel in rain not ideal Would certainly return »

« As I filled in the check in form online before arrival, the whole process took literally a couple of seconds. The staff were very polite and answered all our questions. We had a set menu dinner at The Terrace hotel restaurant - very reasonable price and top quality food, we had all three courses. Good selection of wine also. Next morning we had breakfast- again, plenty of choice and service »

« A welcoming, friendly hotel with character. Beautiful surroundings, a regular visit by a muntjac deer. We had a view of the sea from our bedroom. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. »

"The team at reception and at the restaurant (dinner, breakfast) were professionals and very kind. There is a big issue with housekeeping : we stayed with a baby during 5 nights and we had to show we were upset: then they cleand our room ! In fact they never used the vacuum (but we asked for because the room was very dusty ) snd they made the befs only once in 5 nights !!!! 200 euro per night : the cleaning doesn’t deserve this money !!!!"

"Le lieu est absolument magnifique, la propriété, le parc, les arbres. En revanche les lieux de restauration ont clairement besoin d'un manager. Malgré le nombre conséquent de personnel, le petit déjeuner n'était pas régulièrement fourni. Les employés sont cachés à droite à gauche, occupés à plier des serviettes en discutant ou en consommant des bouteilles cachées dans les placards... Un soir nous avons attendu 1h notre commande de repas alors que nous étions avec 2 enfants. C'est vraiment dommage car le lieu est magique et mérite mieux. "
