"I tried to send this mail to Hotels.com: Our cruise with MSC March 14 2020 was cancelled the day before. After the cruise we had planned to go to St. Lucia by a ferry the 28 March. This traffic stopped on March 17 2020 so it was not possible to go to Guadeloupe or Castries. The restrictions on Martinique made it impossible to stay longer. "On arrival it took almost an hour to check in, when I asked why it was taking so long I was informed that the room I booked was not available. i was finally given a room but although I was told it was like for like, it was not in the main hotel and was quite far from the restaurants and entertainment area. I will make sure my booking is confirmed in the main hotel building next time."

"I would recommend this hotel. The unit we have was set up like a French Gite. Outside under cover was the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Inside plenty of room with a TV, WiFi, master bed and two single beds. En-suite with shower. Staff were family and spoke several languages. We ate at the restaurant on New Year’s Eve and the food was excellent. Would recommend the restaurant. There is a small swimming pool but the beach is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Good location to explore...

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The large room with sea view was very good and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was very good, lunch ok and evening snacks good. The bar shuts at 2200, which is good. There is a lovely beach/forest walk to the next beach. The bus stop is a short walk away with regular buses to Deshaies and other parts of the island. The island is beautiful and easy to get around. "
