« Ein tolles Hotel mitten in der Natur! Der Service war einfach klasse. Das Team kümmerte sich hervorragend, war super hilfsbereit und erfüllte uns jeden Wunsch! Das Essen im Restaurant war Spitzenklasse. Es gab eine tolle Karte, auf der man immer etwas Neues finden konnte, auch als Vegetarier. « My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. « Disappointed that Expedia don't check the facilties claimed. There is no bar, despite the listing. As the hotel is some distance from town, it would have affected my decision to stay there. As everywhere in Sri-Lanka, the staff are friendly and helpful but the place feels a little tired and small things such as no bedside lighting are an inconvenience. »

« Un moment de calme parfait dans cet univers so british avec un service et un cadre juste exceptionnels, il n y a absolument rien à redire sur ce petit cottage de 4 chambres et avec tous les services du St Andrews situé à 2 pas. Je ne peux que recommander grandement ce lieu magnifique. »

« I had a nice stay, but to be honest I was expecting more from a property of this standard. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable, however the sheets, towels and dressing gown were pilled, the curtains didn't go to the end of the window, and a cracked tile in the bathroom had been badly repaired. I also found it difficult to mix the taps in the shower to get the right temperature and there were no instructions on how to operate the heater. All in all I didn't feel the quality of the...

"Chambre belle sur photo mais manque d’amour et d’entretien. On a commander à la chambre et cela a pris 2 heures se faire servir. Nous avions réservé une chambre deluxe et ils nous ont pas donné la bonne chambre (chambre moins luxueuse) et ils ont même pas voulu nous rembourser la différence. "
