« This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. « My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. « House is in a quiet location away from crowds. Considering the ugly housing situation in SL, I greatly appreciate the privacy this house has to offer. Nice garden and the view of Hantana mountains. House is spacious and clean. I would stay again. On the downside, kitchen is quipped with the cheapest of cheap flimsy stuff. If you enjoy cooking, forget about the kitchen. Hope, some day owners would upgrade kitchen. Overall, this is a good place to stay in Sri Lanka. »

"Excellent hôtel, personnel très accueillant et très gentil, chambre très spacieuse, confortable et très jolie chambre 8. Le restaurant est excellent digne d'un semi gastronomique français et le cadre est très reposant après l'effervescence du centre ville. Je recommande les yeux fermés. "Hotel situe en plein centre ville mais neanmoins calme. Parfait pour faire quelques visites et achat dans la ville. Attention 2 etages sans ascenseur mais ensuite un ascenseur. Petit dej très bon. Piscine tres agreable. "

"L’hôtel n’est pas entretenue depuis très longtemps cela ne vaut pas son prix. Il y a 4 ou 5 ans cela devait être très bien mais tout est abîmé. Salle de sport inutilisable. "
