« We were in town for my grandmother’s funeral and wanted to spend a little time exploring CVille and Monticello while we were here. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and cozy. It was perfect walking distance to restaurants and the mall. We were a quick drive to Monticello and hikes. Beds were comfy. My boys loved the sonic the hedgehog video game on the TV when we were packing up and during a storm that came through. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our family. »

« Beautiful, clean, comfortable, spectacular views. The property was exactly as advertised and pictures were accurate. Kitchen had everything you need if you decide to cook-in. Pots and pans in great shape. This was the best of any rental that we have stayed in. It is a lovely property. Highly recommend and would absolutely rent again. »

« This was by far the most clean, organized, and welcoming VRBO we have stayed in. Because of its distance to a town, Maria let us know ahead of time so we could plan accordingly. She went out of her way to make sure we had access to the home that best fit our schedule. The house is beautifully decorated, has quality linens, nicely done appliances, and small comforts of home. « This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. The location is convenient, as it is within 20 minutes of several of our favorite local wineries, breweries, trails, and attractions. Lorraine is incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and even left us brownies, eggs, and firewood. We highly recommend! »
