"Stayed with grandchildren in a great room. Staff extremely knowledgeable and accomodating. I did not like the breakfast dining experience. No back ground music the food was not great and you coukd hear a pin drop. No one talking at tables it felt awkward. Otherwise a great stay. I will stay again it was very pricey but location is why "

Loch Fyne Hotel And Spa

"Lovely hotel with easy parking, great food (try the tart for dessert!), beautiful views in the lounge and restuaraunt, and a delightful pool and spa area. Note that you do need reservations for the outdoor hot tub (we were late arrivals and early departure, and did not check on the process for that). Would happily return and hopefully spend more than one night next time."

"The Machrie always had the potential to be a top class hotel. This was my fourth visit and there has been a marked improvement which I put down to the management of the hotel provided by Another Place. "A classic Scottish Castle Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous surroundings. Wildlife on your doorstep. Rooms show some evidence of age (if you are picky about stuff like that), but it's an old Scottish Castle hotel... You want it to feel like an old Scottish Castle, don't you, and it absolutely does. "

"The hotel was class , looked dated , which i like , but the rooms were like wow , wouldn't expect going into a hotel which on the outside , and in the halls were like walking into the late 19th century the i went into a room a basic btw , and a beautiful mural of david bowie and just transformed it into modern, was such a wow factor , the staff were like family , we went to the pub about 3 mile away , and the boss was there , talking away as if we were family, ive never felt so like home but while away , i only came on here to book again and noticed it asked for a review, honestly , if you want the marriot or the hilton , (which lets be honest all loom the same) the you wont be happy , but if you want to walk into history and get to your room with a view , and the room transports you back , then this is it, i honestly loved this place that much i phoned up rough and asked for an extra night , the town is so welcoming , the taxi driver was class , the kebab shop was class , everyone was happy , and trust me i tried to annoy people , they just go with it , an amazing place and an amazing bunch of people xxx"
