"The stay was good overall. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The villas are huge and well appointed. Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed it very much. However there were some major problems which will prevent us from coming back here. We had several issues, some of which were addressed and some were not. You are in the jungle, so there are ants. "I had a great week long stay for my honeymoon in mid October 2025. There are a lot of things to love. The setting is breathtaking, surrounded by lush green mountains and beautiful blue ocean. The grounds themselves are impressively maintained with colorful plants everywhere. It's basically a botanical garden. The staff were very kind and attentive. The pools were large and clean. Their shoreline is rocky, but we were able to do some snorkeling near their pier and saw a surprising amount of wildlife. If you want sandy beaches, there are a couple public options close by; they even have a walking trail to one of them. It was not yet peak tourism season on the island, so the resort was pretty slow, with seemingly only a handful of other guests. This meant that even with some live music at nights, the vibe was a bit dead, so we spent more time than expected in our room in the evenings. I assume at a busier time there would be a more lively vibe. Dinners and drinks were good. We also enjoyed a handful of restaurants nearby if you want to change it up. All in all, this resort is a great place to mix in some relaxation and luxury on an island that otherwise calls you to get out and explore."

"Hotel check in was quick and I was able to enter my room before the alloted time which was great after an early morning flight. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, the staff treated you like royalty as well. I experienced minor issues with my room but it was addressed immediately. I arrived as a stranger but left as though they were my family. The owner, Lise was very friendly and engaged with guests everyday. They also recommended various spots to visit as well payments were very convenient as they arranged tours around the island. I met some wonderful people at the hotel, the best part is the hotel has 7 rooms which means you get personalized attention. Tamara makes the best breakfast and Omar is the best tour guide, I would definitely be back and I give 5/5 stars! Did I mention the view is amazing!"

"I would suggest that they upgrade to elevators. Walkin up those small steps /stairs with your luggage was inconvenient. The locks on the door were outdated and hard to open. But it seems safe. Clean room, comfy bed and fresh towels was available. The hotel room was just like in the picture ."

"the property is nothing like the pictures. it was very unkept and smelt really moldy. Even the restroom at the reception area was below par for a hotel. To get the rooms, the tiles in the hall are very slippery and sunked in ...be careful when walking down the steps as well. In our room the toilet and the jacuzzi were not working. It was so bad i had to go all the way back to reception to request a room change.The second room smelt really moldy, we tried to air it out but here's where it went wrong. The reception stated that the security guard will bring us a fan to air out the new room, but on whatsapp she stated that i needed to come and collect ....its a good distance from the room. i was turned off by the atmosphere and lack of concern by the staff. I went to check out the same day (this was less than an hour after checking in) and the reception did not even have the courtesy to check me out and said that i should leave to the key with the grounds man. As we were loading the car i could hear the staff mockingly shouting "BYE!" i was really hurt. The pool was so dirty and unkept. I have reached out to Expedia for a refund and i am still unable to get any satisfaction from this ordeal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE ESPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE MOLDY SMELL, BROKEN FACILITIES AND EXTREMELY UNHOSPITABLE STAFF. I DID NOT STICK AROUND FOR THE WORST "
