"I liked the rooms, a nice ocean view. Rooms were nicely laid out , bathroom with rain shower head. The balcony was a nice place to relax. Friendly staff. My only wish was that they could have offered a late checkout…, they did store our luggage ."

"Beautiful site on a cove facing the Atlantic. The staff are great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Leatherback turtles nest in the cove and the staff work with a conservation group to facilitate turtle watching. Excellent place to base our visit in Dominica."

"Our experience at the Pagua Bay House was great! The grounds, cabana, restaurant, and view of the bay were amazing. We ate most of our meals on-site at the bar and grill. As others have mentioned, we really appreciated the help from Sheldon and Alicia in setting up activities and providing suggestions to explore the island! We would definitely recommend staying at Pagua Bay House on a trip to Dominica."

"This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to see the real Dominica. Lovely, rustic rooms where you can really connect with nature as you feel like you are in the treetops. The staff were really friendly and I'd highly recommended having the family style dinner they provide as it's delicious and you get to speak with others staying there. Worth hiring a car as this is out of the way but plently of space to park on the road. "

"Well maintained home with plenty of space. Sunrise and moonrises were spectacular. Decent grocery shopping in Calibishie but the best store we found was Savers Enterprise in Portsmouth. Safety & privacy were excellent. The house is sited in a way that no one can see and there is no other property "looking down" on you. Gweneth (mgr) told us the do's on dont's for safety at check in and Chris (owner) was very responsive to all inquiries."

"The room was superb. The pool is excellent. There is one restaurant for breakfast with a buffet, and one restaurant for dinner. It did not have everything on the menu, and I found it pricey, although the food was good. Service was very slow, although I didn't mind - I wasn't in a hurry. No beach!"

"The rooms were really big, clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. Minor inconveniences were addressed timely. The kitchenette was a nice touch to the room. Inclusion of a lift and planned exterior upgrades will better position this facility. A great experience altogether. "
