"The room, the staff, the private onsen, and the Kaiseki dinner were all amazing. The staff welcomed us in from the cold, took care of our bags, set us up with our own boots for the snow, and taught us how to tie up our yukata’s within minutes of arriving. It was an immersive experience that felt like a home away from home, and will forever be our favourite experience in Japan."

Nice additions to their onsen area are sauna and outdoor cold plunge, not often found in Onsen. A bit of a hike from town but convenient free shuttle service. "
