I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. This was a budget hotel for us backpacking around Malaysia. It had what we needed. The air con remote didn’t work but the kind start replaced it for us. We got a room clean aswell after the first night. The staff are lovely. Only downside was cockroaches coming up the toilet drain but not sure how this could be prevented maybe a stopper at the top of the drain? We got rid of them with room bug spray." Working with the airport staff and asking for updates and when we finally got the luggage back, they were so helpful and checked in with us to make sure we were okay! They also gave us great recommendations on where to buy the essentials when we got there without our luggage and we also wanted to mention the restaurant staff was very attentive as well.
