« I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. The staff is welcoming, breakfast is very nice (waffles!!). I really appreciated the amenities in the room. Restaurants are 5 min walk with some nice possibilities. The only negative point is the noise insulation between rooms, I could hear everything from my neighbors. »

« Very lovely restored Hotel from the early part of the 20th century. Rooms have antique decor. It is a beautifully conditioned example of a bygone era. The downside is if you want usual hotel amenities like TV you're out of luck. In some ways it is more like a B&B and if that works for you it is a very nice place. »

« We got to the place and looked like it may have been ran down and closed - We rang the ring bell and nothing rang it again nothing - was a note of a window call of nobody answers ring doorbell. We called and went straight sorry the person hasn’t set up a voicemail. Ended up having to ride clear back to Klamath falls to get a room. Worst ever in history for a motel or lodge as they say. Entire time the dog chained up outside kept barking and barking by a white car assume someone was around but...

« We enjoyed our stay at the Albaugh family guest house. The views were amazing. There is a great view of Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. We enjoyed watching the cows move around in the pasture. A convenient location. We would stay again »

« This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town.
