"Décevant pour le prix payé pour un hôtel au Burundi. Certes le cadre est idyllique. Hôtel au bord du lac Tanganyika (même si les plages sont très restreintes à cause de la montée des eaux). Nous avons dû changer de chambre à notre arrivée car les toilettes étaient en mauvais état. On nous a alors proposé de nous surclasser mais à nos frais. Nous avons refusé. "Clean room, spacious enough and well located. Staff were outstanding . Very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that is a spoiler is also an advantage. HOTEL is in the heart of Bujumbura where everything you need is at walking distance. However, this comes with bars and churches(noise).This could not stop you book these rooms as the pros outweigh the cons by a tonne . I strongly recommend Hotel Hibiscus for their service . Thank you again for all the staff that contribute in my enjoyable holiday."

"This must have been a great hotel when it was new, decades ago. The staff are great. The rooms are tired, but clean. The overall atmosphere is good, and the pool area is nice. The breakfast was very mediocre (stale pastries, coagulated milk for coffee), but lunch was fine. The outdoor area in the restaurant was dirty and there were a lot of flies pestering clients. It’s a good location close to the airport. "
