"We were so disappointed with this hotel. It is NOT near Aalen. It needs so much work. It looks like it might have been busy at some point but it feels like a ghost hotel. Our room had one small comforter. No towels. No glasses. 2 pillows. A refrigerator that did not work. The washer dryer area for the hotel is dirty and pathetic. The reception area had trash that was not picked up for two days and no Receptionist. There was quite a bit of deferred maintenance on the property. It...

"The check in is through the restaurant and up a few flights of spiral staircase. Staff was very quick to assist with luggage carrying. Parking is non-existent at the hotel. Not easy to find door and where to park while you check in. Restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday so we couldn’t talk to anyone face to face about our Wednesday arrival. Emailed and we received a quick and accurate response on what to do upon our arrival. Room was wonderful, clean and cozy."

"Pros - Nice breakfast (but get there early as there are no refills of the food). Conveniently located a short drive to the town and convenient for onward travel. Evening meal was tasty and good onsite brewed beer. Nice setting when you arrive, small animal paddock, lake and peacocks strolling around!
