"Beware of extra costs!! We were forced to pay for parking even though it is stated several times in the description as free. When we asked about this, the landlady became very unpleasant and threatened that if we did not pay, we could just cancel. There was a strong and very unpleasant smell in the bedroom - smelled of old sweat. I think it came from the sofa bed, where they had clearly tried to remove something/stain. It is a shame to have to give a low score, as the apartment is actually...

"A lovely house, very clean and tidy with a modern interior. The garden shown in the picture is smaller than it looks as you only rent the back half of the house but there is a great outdoor decking space for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sven was very helpful showing us around the house when we arrived. We were lucky with a week of hot weather so the local lake beach and outdoor pool were perfect."

"This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot. Maybe that wouldn’t be too fun for an extended stay. It was nice to have a cathedral ceiling. I think this was only in a few rooms. Bed was typical German stiff and slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was one of the best of our trips so far. The Christmas market was only a 10 minute walk away. "

"This hotel had clean, comfortable rooms. Having an onsite restaurant for dinner was a nice benefit. Good breakfast buffet too. The only negative was that no one was available at the front desk for check even though we rang the bell and waited a while. We ended up going to the restaurant and alerting them, which took care of us."
