We also provide beach toys in our guest patio closet for the kids to enjoy during your stay. Our beach town home is located in the most popular section of Southbay and is within walking distance to dining, entertainment, shopping, and has become extremely popular for many return guest. Southbay by the Gulf is a community of privately owned town homes. This resort style community is located on 300 feet of one of the world's most beautiful private beaches with pristine powder white sand and crystal clear water. The property also has a 5 acre stocked freshwater lake to enjoy catching bass and brim. Park in your reserved parking spot within steps of your front door and avoid all those high-rise condo headaches. This privately owned two story beach town home has been recently updated in 2024 with shiplap ceilings throughout the townhome and a snack bar with Mini-Refrigerator to store all of your beach snacks and beverages. This beach gem is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath (with an additional queen size pull out sleeper sofa) that sleeps 8 guests and has approximately 1300 square feet of living space. There were beach toys for our 2 grandkids and the location couldn’t have been better. We were right beside the pool and the beach was just steps away. The townhome was very clean and was decorated beautifully. Quick walk to the beach and beach chairs and umbrella set up everyday by Taylor who was exceptionally accommodating. The location was awesome - right next to the pool and the beach was just a short walk. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Location from crab islandAnd harbor walk was only about 6 minutes which worked for us because we don’t like to be in the middle of the craziness. The chair service was great as well as the extras the owners provided--beach toys, umbrellas, chairs. It was a nice complex , close to food and shopping. The townhouse had everything that we needed and was close to the beach and swimming pool. The boardwalk across the lake was a great place to have a morning walk. We felt very safe. The property grounds are maintained well and the beach was always ready for our arrival with chairs and umbrella. Host provided all check in information ahead of our arrival and everything went seamlessly. Our teens loved the beach and the nearby seafood, Sushi and breakfast restaurants. We also had fun feeding the birds and turtles at the little lake area. The beach is feet away from the front door. Destin is a beautiful town with a lot of things to keep you busy even in the off-season. Condo was clean and well supplied and the location next to the pool was convenient. The beach towels for all of us and beach toys for the grandkids were great and they had a wonderful time. The beach is a minute walk away from the condo and was beautiful even after the hurricane. The owner is very responsive and super nice and he kept in contact with me due to the fact we were arriving a day after the hurricane.
