The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026. Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us. Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience. SunDestin Unit 1603 is a cheerfully refreshing one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. You’ll find everything you need in the well-stocked kitchen with a raised bar, ideal for serving hors devours and tropical drinks. They have an overflow lot about 3 blocks away which we had to park at 4 out of the 5 nights we were there. Single mom with 2 small kids crossing Destin's busiest road in the dark night isn't ideal. Our only complaint (which is not the condo owner's fault) is the parking situation is terrible. There aren't enough spaces so you have to park in 'overflow parking' which is 3 blocks down in a sketchy dark lot and then cross Destin's busiest road on foot to get back. Lobby, shop and restaurant on property were very convenient. Units are small. 1603 was appointed OK, but DW was quirky. Had to really push and jostle the door to get it to start. Also, Missing a few kitchen items, like tongs, but mostly everything needed was included. Kitchen is super small. You can barely open fridge door all the way without hitting counter on other side. Room outdated Overall my experience at sundestin with scenic stays was a positive one. Location was great. The room was outdated. The bed in master bedroom was uncomfortable. It sunk in the middle and squeaked with every move. Luckily by the 2nd night you are too tired to notice. The television turned on but you can not change the channel. It was stuck on nickelodeon. The faucets to the sink were rusted you had to use muscle to turn them on and off. Otherwise everything else was great. I feel improvements need to be made to help satisfy future guests.
