Wake up to emerald waters and sugar-white sand at this stunning coastal retreat located just moments from the beach. Nestled in a charming seaside neighborhood, 4527 Ocean View Drive offers the perfect place of relaxation. It has been completely updated with all new beds, rugs, home furnishings and decor. It features easy to close internal wood shutters and hardwood floors. It offers an open floor plan on the first level with a fully-equipped, newly refurbished kitchen. There are amazing wrap around covered porches on the first and second stories (double covered piazzas) with lots of seating. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine as you wind down in the evening. It features three bedrooms and three full bathroom located in the wonderful neighborhood in the Crystal Beach community of Destin. It is located only 5 houses from the beach, close to shopping, restaurants, bike paths. It is just down the street from the Commons Shopping Center, movie theater, Bass Pro Shop, Whole Foods and Publix and a variety of restaurants. Also includes access to the community pool (heated during the cooler months). When you are not enjoying the beautiful views of the Destin beaches, you can enjoy amazing “views from space” of stunning beaches around the world. The house is decorated with phenomenal photos taken from space of beaches and other extraordinary views of famous places across the globe. A treat for both the adults and the children! The Kitchen, which was just updated, includes generous countertop space, a dishwasher, range, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. It is fully-stocked with pots, pans, bake-ware, cooking utensils, dishes, silverware. The dining area seats 8 comfortably. Bedroom 1: Ground-level bedroom (perfect for guests who cannot use stairs) features a Full Bed, will a single sized pull-out trundle bed, easy to close internal wood shutters that keep the room dark, a walk-in closet, a full bathroom, and a side door that opens to the porch. Bedroom 2: 2nd Floor- Master Suite with a King Bed, large television, easy to close internal wood shutters that keep the room dark, a large walk-in closet, lounge area, desk, private door that opens to the porch that has lounge chairs (perfect morning coffee location to sit). The private master bathroom includes a Jacuzzi tub and double sinks. Bedrooms 3: 2nd Floor- Features a Queen Bed, television, easy to close internal wood shutters that keep the room dark, and includes a couch that turns into a full size bed (great for two children or one adult). The bedroom includes a private bathroom with large walk-in shower. It also features a private door that opens to the porch that has a seating area and overlooks the front of the house. All of the bedrooms include high-end beds, mattresses and beddings. The home has an interior first floor utility room with a washing machine and dryer for your use. The backyard offers a patio with lots of outside seating and a gas fire pit. The walk to beach access is five minutes away. Stores and restaurants are a short car ride away. Hosts left plenty of information for local spots to visit. Kitchen was well stocked so that we could make meals at home when we didn’t want to eat out. We loved the fact it was just a short walk to the amazing white sand beach with crystal clear water! The location was also close to shopping, which made it nice for my oldest to walk to if he didn’t want to hangout with his parents at the beach. We absolutely loved our stay. Rebecca was incredibly helpful and kind, which made us feel right at home. The neighborhood is very nice and has a pool, however we spent most of our time at the beach (which is less than a block away). The location is perfect. There’s a Whole Foods, Publix, outdoor shopping mall, Bass Pro and plenty of places to eat within a mile. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to get us started on our vacation. We loved how close it was to the beach and how comfortable just staying in was. Any problems we had Rebecca was quick to respond and get the issue fixed. I definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home. My family is repeat renters at Slice of Heaven because we feel at home with the rental process and the comfort of the house. The proximity to the beach is basically a couple minutes until your feet touch the sand. The neighborhood is charming. The amenities in the house make it feel like home. We enjoyed everything about the home. It was beautiful, the kitchen was perfect & well appointed. We were able to do our own laundry, and even though it was just the three of us, make use of most of the space in the home. The host was lovely, easy to reach, kept in touch and even appointed the home with a pack and play for our son. We hope to be able to come back in the not too distant future! Thank you so much! The owner was friendly and communication was easy. Unfortunately we were only there 2 days - damn Hurricane Sally. All three beds seemed different, but can only truly say that the king upstairs is really firm. Downstairs living room was comfy. I believe the owner said she has plans to update the kitchen soon, but it was cute and functional and stocked with basics.
