There is also a $10 fee collected by Sandpiper Cove on-site. Current shot records are required at check-in as well. Although Sandpiper Cove allows pets, pets are not allowed on the beach. No beach in Destin/Okaloosa county is pet friendly. This Pet Friendly studio with its fully equipped kitchen is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. The first night we stayed the temperature wouldn’t get below 80 degrees and was absolutely miserable. The humidity in the apartment was through the roof. Sandpiper Cove is super nice and we have stayed there MANY times. I’d spend an extra couple bucks and get a nicer unit. This one just wasn’t it. The kitchen was poorly stocked with dishware. The patio is right by the street and is loud. Also we stayed there in the spring. In the summer this place would be absolutely unbearable ##### Joey J.
