Renew your senses under swaying palm trees in one of Destin's largest backyards. This home features three stories, and nearly 4,000 sq feet of exceptional living space with grand balconies offering sweeping views of Crystal Beach. Crystal Gem's spacious backyard features a large 25ft x 11ft heated pool\*\*, a spacious patio, and a six-foot privacy fence. The extra large driveway can hold up to eight vehicles. Crystal Gem is only a short walk from the world-famous Destin beach. We even have a seasonal beach chair and umbrella set up for you at the beach.\*\* Starbucks, Publix, Whole Foods, dining, family entertainment, and much more are less than a mile away. Relax in one of three living rooms. There is plenty of luxurious seating and lounge chairs out back for everyone in your group. Entertainment is provided with high-speed Wi-Fi and app-based programming on the Smart TVs. We had a wonderful stay at this house in March. First floor bedroom was perfect for my MIL. Backyard was great with the heated pool and plenty of space. The neighborhood is amazing, very quiet and peaceful with quite a few actual Florida residents. It has easy access to the beach, just a five minute walk, as well as easy drive to lots of restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay here and would def stay again. We only had 5 people in the house, and just used the first and second floors. It says it sleeps 18, and I’m sure that it does, although the third floor seems like it would be hot in the middle of summer. ##### Julia G. The pool and all the paml trees in the back made for a great esacpe. House was clean and well maintained. The location was great, quick walk to the beach, access to lots of shopping, and quick drive to anywhere in Destin. The beach chair inclusion was amazing. Was also nice they had a cart and additional beach chairs. Kitchen was well stock with equipment and utensils. You gets starters on soap, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, etc. All in all a great experience. Linens and beds were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. We did have small children and there is only the one large garden tub in the main floor master so it was a little challenging for bath time. The walk to the beach isn’t too far for a healthy adult but may be challenging for kids and elderly. The beach access isn’t handicap accessible and has lots of steps which prove to be challenging for some of our group. The pool is smaller than the picture alludes to but is very well kept and clean. Overall, we loved the house and would book again! ##### Candace S. The kids enjoyed the pool. Based on the listing I thought it was slightly closer to the beach, but it still wasn’t that bad of a walk. Property was clean upon arrival. Only issue we had was as soon as we entered the property the fire alarm went off and it took 45 min for the maintenance person to come and fix it. Short walk to the beach was exactly what we needed, and the pool was great for those who didn’t want to get sandy. We had lots of space to spread out across floors, plenty of bathrooms, and the home was comfortable and well stocked. Loved the pool and the quick walk to the beach — it was truly not more than 1.5 blocks away. The manager was great with our pre-trip questions and we had no issues on the trip.
