The place was just as it looked online. It was very clean. We had never been to Destin so weren’t sure about how close it would be to the beach. It was perfect! It’s a short walk, less than 5 minutes, from the unit, across the street to the beach where you have an access code to get onto the beach. There are pedestrian crossings so it’s very safe to cross the street. People drive slowly and everyone stops for people in crosswalks. The beach is private which is nice because the public part was much busier. Walking saved so much time because parking in the lot, even if you took a golf cart, was very hectic. We had an issue with maintenance when we first arrived that was quickly taken care of.The check in and out process was easy.Only one thing I would say wasn’t the best was the first floor bedroom has it’s own patio and some of the nice cushioned chairs were broken there so we couldn’t use those. There were others to use instead so it wasn’t like we had nothing. That’s about it though.Overall, highly recommend. I would stay here again! ##### Stephanie D.
