Right on the beach so you are not crossing any roadways (great for families). The unit was as advertised. We have stayed in many areas of Florida and enjoy the Destin area the most. The white sand and green/blue clear waters can't be beat for those travelling from the north who want to access the ocean beaches without travelling further south into Florida. The unit was very clean and ready to be lived in when we arrived. This unit is a very comfortable and well equipped place to stay. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a rental. To have both a crock pot and an air fryer was a bonus. There are plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity if you’re not into cooking. Breakers East is a smaller building compared to some of the very big high rises in the area. But that’s what makes it a nice place for an extended stay. Every unit faces the Gulf of Mexico and you can’t go wrong sitting on the balcony taking in the sights and sounds of the beach. We have loved our stay here the past two years and have already.
