Enjoy a private walk over to the beach where 8 chairs and 4 umbrellas await in one of the least busy sections of Destin's beautiful Crystal Beach. This home features over 10,000 square feet of indoor living space and ample outdoor spaces, which includes a large gulf-front pool and 12 person spa tub, TV, and barbecue. The balconies provide plenty of outdoor lounges and gathering furniture to enjoy the astonishing gulf views. Arriving at Big House by the Sea, guests are greeted with a stunning curb appeal and a spacious driveway that allow for comfortably fitting up to six cars. Eight bikes and a golf cart included with this home are available for guests to travel around the area. In addition to a grand entrance, this home is wheelchair accessible with an accessible entrance and an elevator to reach each floor of this home. Guests are in for a treat as they enter Big House by the Sea. A luxurious foyer with marble flooring and heaps of natural light fill the space as it leads to the first bedroom. This bedroom is spacious, cozy, and wheelchair accessible. A king bed and an en-suite bathroom are found in this bedroom. Notably, the en-suite consists of a barrier-free shower, providing accessible shower usage. Next to this bedroom, guests can take advantage of the first-floor laundry room that doubles as an additional entrance to an outdoor shower and private entrance to the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to the bedroom on the first floor, the kitchen, dining area, and lounge area are also situated on this main level. An open concept floor plan creates a spacious environment perfect for entertaining. The kitchen boasts white cabinetry and high-end stainless steel appliances. Enough seats for ten, encircles a large island and allows plenty of space to gather or cook. From the kitchen, guests can directly access the lounging and dining space. The lounging area boasts a plush semi-circle sectional sofa and displays a high-definition television over a linear gas fireplace. Relax here and enjoy a movie, or take in the views of the Gulf of Mexico from the sliding doors across the back of the home. To the right, two luxurious dining tables that seat over 20 guests provide a perfect spot for friends and family to enjoy dining together. Additional features on the first floor include cove ambient lighting in major living spaces, ground power outlets for recharging electronics, and additional rest areas on this floor. The remaining two floors of this home can be accessed by stairs or the in-home elevator. The second floor provides guests with additional sleeping arrangements and endless entertainment. Resort-quality amenities such as a private theatre that seats 20 with a kid-friendly stage, poker table, arcade, pool table and a wet bar are all designed as a speakeasy. Situated just outside the movie theatre, the wet bar is ideally placed to access beverages before, during, and after the movie. Four bedrooms are located on the second floor. Two king suites face the Gulf of Mexico and features private balconies and en-suite bathrooms. Both en-suite bathrooms are spacious and grand with free-standing bathtubs, walk-in showers, and two separate sink-and-mirror stations. Situated between these king suites, an indoor swing sofa overlooks the emerald waters of the Gulf. Down the hall, a family pirate-themed suite is designed to transport guests into a coastal oasis. In addition to the king-sized bed, a cozy nook is hidden in this room and houses a full/full bunk bed plus an ensuite bathroom. The final bedroom, a gaming bunk suite, is ideal for young adults and those who enjoy video games. This suite offers one twin/twin bunk and two queen/queen bunks. The highlight of this room is the setup for gaming and entertainment. Five bean bag chairs provide comfortable seating around a large flat-screen TV and gaming monitor. Vibrant LED lighting creates the perfect ambiance for gamers alike. The third and final floor of this home features additional sleeping arrangements, lounging space, and workspace. A small lounge area greets guests with plush sofas and a private workspace room. The family suite found on this floor boasts a king-sized bed, full/full bunks, and a crib next to a plush nursing glider; this room is ideal for those traveling with infants. Furthermore, the king primary suite features stunning Gulf of Mexico views with a spa-like ensuite bathroom. Outside of the primary suite, a wet bar, coffee bar, and lounge are situated perfectly for breakfast and coffee overlooking the gulf. Detailing went into every aspect of Big House by the Sea. I think we were one of the first to rent it and now, I don’t know how we can go anywhere else. It is breathtaking. You walk into a huge great room space with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. We never got tired of it. Even when it rained, it was beautiful. The house just keeps getting better. Our kids were so excited at every turn. The pool and hot tub are big, 15 in the hot tub easily. The covered outdoor area with a tv was great for the littles to nap/relax while we could still be in the pool. The theater was a huge hit, watched Jurassic Park you could hear the roars in the entire house. We were jumping out of our comfy seats, which people napped in also! The kids loved the games in the arcade. The 3rd floor had a small area for kids to color and build puzzles. There were 7 bedrooms, all with their own bath. If you are lucky enough to get the 3rd floor master suite, be prepared to share it. Every day, the adults met for coffee on the deck overlooking the Gulf, even saw dolphins bobbing by. The pirate family suite had 2 full bunks, even a ship’s wheel/bell for the kids to play. The other family suite also had 2 full bunks plus the quiet lounge outside the door. There was a huge bunk bedroom with TVs for gaming with bean bag chairs (great for teens). The 1st floor suite was the quiet one and looked to be perfect older folks due to the 1st floor being all level (there is a ramp outside and elevator too) Then the 3 gulf front suites were just heaven, decks outside the door with breezy views! We had 5 cars and learned to park parallel in the drive for easy access. Huge Kitchen fully equipped, plus a full kitchen on 3rd floor. We used bev frig on 1st floor, so we had more space in main frig for food. Wash/Dryer on every floor. The BEACH, WOW! We noticed it was the least occupied area, because of the private lot, we had 8 chairs reserved in a semi-circle, so it felt like we had it to ourselves. There were sand toys and extra chairs available. We used the bikes and rode to Brewsters for ice cream! Camilles, short am walk for coffee and cinnamon rolls, plus happy hour with a music and a farewell dinner. I can’t stop thinking about the house and beach. My 3 yr old daughter woke up this morning and said, “Are we going to the Big House today?” She will remember this trip forever; I know I will. Saving up to return! ##### Shannon K.
