Great views but it was okay

Property was nice but the unit was outdated. Really needs an upgrade and minor repairs. Very nice view of beach and pools great. Game room was a disappointment as there was only a few games and prizes was peppermints. Overall nice location and friendly staff.

Great stay

There was so much humidity in the room that the floors and furniture were wet the entire stay. The counters were a little dirty but other than that the stay was amazing. Easy beach access, great staff, walking distance to everything. This is my 2nd stay here and I will definitely be coming back.

Great view but needs some fixing

My overall impression is that it could be great but some repairs have been neglected. The stove had two burners that were inoperable. One element was broken and the other smoked when turned on. The TV in the bedroom was never hooked up to the service. We called and vacasa called once to get it going but we were out. The place itself has a lot of potential but several things were neglected. Vacation time is not to get repairs done as arranged by the customer. So if Vacasa is responsible, they are not doing their job. I think a discount/refund is appropriate considering all the things that were broken or did not work.

First Destin trip

Perfect location! Perfect beach! Condo was just what the 4 of us needed for our first vacation to Destin as a family. Teenage girls had a great time. We felt safe enough for them to go on their own to beach and around complex. No complaints!!

My first trip to Destin

The table in the living room was broken there was no table on balcony to set and enjoy the view there were water stains on the ceiling in the half bath.The pool closed at 8p M. On the dot along with the hot tub and security ran everyone off at 8 nightly.the towel racks were broken in the bathrooms laying in floor. Definitely needs some updating to the condo.our blanket had black smeared all over it couldn't use it.The view was beautiful!

The apartment had a awesome view. Property was awesome with the different pools and hot tubs with the tiki bar with private beach / access. The apartment was outdated for sure but not bad for the price.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed the condo. It was clean. It smelled fresh. We had plenty of towels to last us til left. We didn’t have any complaints. I would suggest replacing the carpet. The living room furniture can be updated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The room needs a lot of work

The room was pretty bad. It needed a lot of updating. We had a lot of problems but the property managers were awesome and refunded us half of our money back. I wouldn't stay at this particular room again but I would definitely go through the company Vacasa that manages it. They made sure we were happy. That's all you can ask for 😊

I Have To Do This

Our stay here was fine. The condo is in DRASTIC need of a make-over/update. A Keurig coffeemaker would be a great place to start! It’s got the necessities you need, but they’re so dated. I agree with the other review about how nasty the carpet is in the bedroom. Don’t go barefoot! We stayed there for 5 nights. I guess the bed is comfortable because I slept quite well. I have neck and back issues and woke up feeling fine every morning 😂 The best thing about it is the balcony over-looking the Gulf of Mexico. It was a little strange not seeing the sun come up or go down, but being on the curve of the gulf doesn’t allow an actual view. You know it’s happening, you just can’t see it! The staff we had contact with were very nice. This unit is not managed by the on site front desk folks, but they are still very kind and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to shower and sleep, this is for you! It needs some TLC before I would rent it again.

Great location and beautiful beach! Condo was overall very nice only thing we would change is to make the AC cooler. It was not hot by any means, we just like to sleep cold at night. When the new pool gets completed and it looked close, Pelican Beach Resort unit 509 will be even better. This units balcony overlooks the new pool and is on the beach! Overall stay was excellent and we would definitely come back and stay again!!!

Needs updated. Some of the outlets don’t work in the living room area and couldn’t get one of the hairdryers to work. Other than that is was good for our few days we was there.

Dark and Dingy

Our stay was a last minute detour on an 18 hour drive for our family to visit our favorite beach and restaurant in Destin and break up the drive. Thankfully we only stayed one night. The unit is very dark, dingy, and outdated. Because of this it was really hard to decide if it was just old or if it was not clean. The carpet in the master is rather gross, the bathrooms are dark and outdated. The pool was under construction and the entire building looks like it needs to be updated. The only positive to this stay was our kiddos got 3 hours on the beach. We spent more time away from the unit than in the unit. We are thankful we were able to find a place on the beach last minute for one night. However we will not be returning to stay at this unit.

Great location

Place was in great location. Views were excellent. We didn’t use pools on property but were available. Bathrooms needed little more TLC. A/C and bedroom fan made noises but we were very tired and only stayed 1 night not to bother us. Overall with the location and views, we really liked our short 1 night stay.
