There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. I wish it'd been more authentic and less "fancy". I should also warn that the heat does not and has not worked in the camp in some time. The location on Expedia is wrong; you need to go to the listed address which is in a small alley. When you get there, they will try to upsell you on camel rides or dinner. Make sure to agree on the dinner price because you might be stuck once you get to camp. The tents are very nice with comfortable beds, hot showers and a flushing toilet. The dining tent is heated. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, walking distance to Luxor Temple and Luxor Museum and just a short ride (5 min) to Karnak Temple. The corniche is also at a walking distance. Room was spacious, not too big not too small. Unfortunately our mini fridge was not working, but no big deal. Shower is ok, nothing special. We had a small patio with partial Nile river view. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options. Several breads, fruits and hot food. They also have an egg station. Coffee was great. We had lunch at the local restaurant Beban twice and one pizza one night. Food was good and prices are similar to tourist restaurants around. The pool is nice, although we haven’t use it, and there is also a great deck by the Nile, where we watched the sunset! Staff is kind and polite. Special shout out to the guest relations that went above and beyond to help me with one issue with my flight. Overall this was a great stay!"
