The house was private, comfortable and had magnificent views. The deck was a treasure...the perfect spot for a glass of wine at sunset after a great hiking day. We liked being close enough to Boulder to enjoy multiple dinners in town, but far enough away to feel more secluded. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and our hosts at Sky Run were friendly and responsive. The location was perfect for our stay as it is about 35 minutes to everything we wanted to do…CU Boulder, Chautauqua Park, Arvada festival, Red Rocks (about 45 mins), downtown Golden. I was nervous about the winding mountain road to the house but it wasn’t bad at all and we got to see a lot of wildlife. We had a little nephew stay an afternoon with us and he had fun with the tinker toys, ping pong table, and swing set. The house is full of baby needs so you don’t have to park a bunch of that stuff. There are comments about the house being warm but they just installed a bunch of new AC units and the temp was perfect the entire trip. This host was responsive and added so many neat touches to this house that you really felt at home. It is not close to much at all, but that was fine for us because we were planning to mainly stay at the house and enjoy visiting. We did drive out to Winter park one day to tube. It was a beautiful but long drive. Golden is 30 minutes drive and we did go into town a couple times. We loved the pool table, darts,, playground, hot tub and playing in the snow. There is minimal privacy in the master bathroom, but it didn’t bother us too much. The tub is huge! Enjoyed that as well. ##### Andrea R. My adult children loved the hot tub (which also has a great view). The property was clean and the kitchen had all the appliances and implements we needed to cook a few large meals. The house is up in the hills, and just out the door is a gorgeous walk. We visited Canyon Coffee and the Wondervu Cafe and enjoyed both (they are right down the hill from the house. House was extremely spacious, well equipped kitchen left us lacking for nothing. The views of the mountains and stars from the deck are spectacular. Location was about 30 min from everything wow we were able to do some sunrise hikes with no problem and didn’t have to go far to get to the wedding events that were closer to Denver.
