I loved how cute this was and it was my first experience with Vrbo. However, when I got back to my unit at around 1130-12am the Friday of my first stay the door would not open. The door was broken, a screw had become lodged in the frame and I was unable to contact the host, nor was Vrbo customer support. I tried calling locksmiths and ultimately had to stay at a hotel at 330am in the morning. In a city I’d never been before as a woman alone, and without any of my stuff, nor my time sensitive medications I needed in the morning. This experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I finally heard back from the host in the morning who said they had a call blocker on their phone which is why they didn’t hear my attempts to reach them which was very frustrating. They fixed the door and did offer a refund for the one night I missed but it did not remove the terrible experience I had to deal with the night before and being without my medications for the morning, nor having to stay in an unclean, unsafe, and sketchy hotel with only my clothes on my person and tiny concert purse from the night before. The other issued I had was the water temperature— there was no way to have a proper shower because it was only scalding hot. I had to turn the shower off and wait for minutes in between turning it back on to be able to shower without burning myself. Overall- ok. Water needs to be fixed- take caution with the door. ##### Taylor R. Host answered any questions I had about my stay and the property within minutes. The tiny home was perfect for me and had everything I needed for my stay. I stayed 5 days and it was very secure, a great central location for me to travel as I wanted, and just 1 mile from my daughter’s house so I could pop in and visit her when I wanted.
