The house has beautifully refinished antique pine floors throughout and freshly remodeled kitchen and baths! The kitchen adorns new stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink, subway tile back splash, antique butcher block island, and various other elements of modern farmhouse decor. The living and dining room have subtle gray and white painted ship lap pine paneling. A flat screen 50" TV, wifi, cable TV, internet cable, and DVD player allow guests to stay connected while the large farmhouse table can seat up to 8 for a nice hearty meal. Additionally, there is two sets of outdoor patio furniture to enjoy a meal outside. There are two bedrooms, one upper level and one lower. Both tastefully decorated and remodeled. Memory foam queen beds, painted ship lap paneling, barn style closet door, and unique lighting allow for a comfortable nights sleep. The house has 2 freshly remodeled bathrooms, equipped with Toto Eco Friendly toilets, rainforest shower in the upper, antique clawfoot tub in the lower, both adorned with stenciled ceramic tile floors and subway tile shower surround. You walk down the stair case and enter the lower level to find another great room with pull out sleeper sofa and a twin over full bunk bed. There is a 2nd flat screen mounted over the mantle so the kids have a TV of their own on those occasional rainy days. The house has 4 window unit air conditioners, dehumidifier with built in drain pump, as well as forced hot air heat which allows guests to keep temperatures regulated and comfortable no matter the weather. The large front yard and fire pit are a wonderful pass time for evening socializing and relaxing. The house is a stones throw from famous Sundae School as well as other wonderful restaurants like Kreme N Kone, Swan River Restaurant and Fish Market, and many others. Yarmouth is a 10 minute drive packed with mini golf, water park, bumper cars, and much more for the kids (and young at heart)! Below is a fun little narrative I put together. Feel free to read along and envision yourself on vacation at The Adventurer in Dennisport! The Story: You have just traveled to Cape Cod for your long awaited summer vacation. You timed it right, and the traffic wasn't too bad. You exit the highway using 78a (formerly 9a) to Dennisport and travel the 5 minutes drive to the shore. You see the famous Kreme N' Kone in front of you. The house is just a few streets away off of Old Wharf. You turn into the driveway of the quaint cottage. ''The Adventurer'' the quarterboard reads. As you exit your car, you can see and hear the ocean. The crisp salt air greets your nose. You kick your shoes off and walk through the lush green grass up to your home away from home. The electronic lock grants you keyless access to your getaway retreat. You open the door and are greeted with antique hardwood floors, farmhouse chic decor, ship-lap walls, and much more. The kitchen to your right has just been renovated with new cabinets, new stainless appliances, granite counters and farmhouse sink. You drop your bags on the antique butcher block island and are very happy with your rental selection. You head towards the back of the house where you find a beautifully renovated bathroom adorned with subway tile surround, rain forest shower, stenciled tile floors and beadboard walls. The air conditioners are doing their job and keeping the house a cool 65 degrees. You pass through the rustic antique door into the ''Shoreline'' room to find a brand new memory foam queen bed. Your friends will stay in the ''Simply White'' room downstairs where they also have a brand new memory foam queen bed. The kids are excited to sleep on the twin over full bunk beds. The multiple sectional sofa's ensure a comfortable place to relax. In the front yard is a Cape Cod fire pit and Kloter Farms Adirondack chairs. A Sound Dock connects your phone via blue tooth and allows you to stream your favorite music. You realize being by the beach you have like ZERO service, so you log into wifi and can now be reconnected- but only if you want. So you have settled in and want to get to the water! Simple, head down the driveway and take a right. Walk exactly 100 steps. You will be on the sidewalk of Old Wharf. You can take 10 steps to your right and access the private beach using the walking path at 141 Old Wharf. Or if you want to people watch or have a larger area, you walk 30 steps to your left and are on Glendon Town Beach. Now you have spent the day on the beach and are ready for some food and dessert! After all, that's the best part of vacation, right! Right down the road is Swan River Restaurant. If you feel like having a cookout at the house, they have the freshest seafood in town! If you aren't in the mood to cook they have a nice rustic restaurant right on the beautiful Swan River. If that's not your style, there are many other favorites nearby! Check the basket on the book shelf next to the fireplace for my personal favorites. Now you are stuffed from a great dinner and need to satisfy that sweet tooth! Look no further than the famous Sundae School. Its less than a mile from the house. They have hands down THE BEST ice cream on Cape Cod. My favorite is 2 scoops of pistachio with marshmallow sauce and burgundy cherries! But be patient- the lines get a little crazy in the summer time. I promise you, it's worth the wait! I hope you enjoy your stay at my house. I have tried very hard to put together an ideal summer getaway. The check-in communication was timely, and the check-in packet had everything we needed. The house was exactly as described, even down to the available chairs (we flew in so we had no beach stuff) and having firewood available for s’mores. I don’t think the house could have served us any better than what it did. If I could point to anything as a negative - the Glendon Road Beach leaves a lot to be desired, which is unfortunate because it’s within walking distance. We had a great week at this home away from home. It had everything we could have asked for. The home has been perfectly decorated and our kids loved the outdoor shower. The keyless entry into the house was great and we loved that we could log on to our Direct TV Now app on the TV so our kids could watch the shows they like. Zach was helpful with any questions we had and very quick to respond. The beach is very close and we loved that it was level with the street. Zach has done a wonderful job upkeeping the property and it is in the PERFECT location. We loved it! ONly downfall was the house/family across the street - loud JAmaican music all weekend associatied with shady cars coming and going all the time communicating only with a gentlman wearing a court monitored ankle brace. I usually don't care, but my young kids watched this all weekend so it bothered me a bit. Overall, a gorgeous lil house for an escape with my kids. I'll be honest and say we were sick the entire time we were there, but the comfey accommodations make it easier to be away from home. Thanks for a beautiful cottage, Zach! ##### Nicole C. I never did a rental like this before and was apprehensive. I read all of Zach's reviews before I committed. The reviews were wonderful and Zach's home at Cape Cod was a real treat to stay at! Easy to find. Easy to access. Clean. Well kept. Homey. It was like staying in a friend's home. We stayed with two adult children with us. We took the room upstairs by the kitchen and living area. They moved downstairs with the bunk beds and queen beds. The beds were comfortable and the place was very quiet. Everyone had privacy. Zach provided anything that we needed. Yes it is 100 steps to the beach as described. There was an information packet sent to us which explained everything we needed to know. This was a big help. We had an issue with the air conditioning and Zach responded immediately. A technician arrived and fixed the issue that day. On our ride home we talked about this place and no one could think of any negatives. What a super vacation and hopefully we can return some day to the Cape. ##### Kathleen j. It was conveniently located a few steps from the beach. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities to make it a perfect stay. We had a great stay here. The house was extremely clean. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, closeness to the beach, and the quiet neighborhood. A large grocery store was a 10 minute drive away which was nice. We had one rainy day and we were very thankful that Mr. Zach had board games, jenga etc to help keep our 4 year old from watching too much TV. Far too often, people rent their houses out and bother the renter throughout the week. Checking in can be an extensive on the phone process and every day thereafter you get a text or call about something meaningless. Zach's cottage was clean, inviting, and spacious for a family.
