The cottage was very comfortable, and the views across Mariaville Lake were outstanding. His local suggestions for restaurants and shopping were also very helpful. It's one of the most scenic VRBOs that I have ever stayed in and I can't wait to come back and just sit by the lake, enjoy a little wine, and do NOTHING. It was nestled in the woods on the owners beautiful property. It was so quiet and peaceful! The property manager was extremely friendly and very accommodating! Tony was always available to answer any questions or concerns. He felt like family! The cottage is only a couple years old and everything still looks brand new. Very clean and nicely decorated. Anything you would want is there! This was recommended to us by other family members that stayed there and we were not disappointed! The little house was perfect for us to stay close to our daughter and her family and use it as our "home base" while we were visiting them. We didn't get to use all of the amenities, yet the ones we used were great! The place was very clean and well stocked with several items you would use daily and additional ones (like the overflowing bowl of fresh fruit). Tony and Patti are the most hospitable VRBO owners I have ever interacted with (having used dozens of VRBOs previously). Their generosity and welcoming personalities were a lovely interaction. Using the kayaks and canoe on the lake with our grandchildren and daughter were such a kindness, and the memories made are precious.
